  • What did he do that was so deadly? o.o I don't get it

  • Bare back is awesome i can gallop bareback on a 16 hh tb :D

  • You sounded like a Monkey ! Hahaha . But good job :)

  • I'm surprised at how many of you bounced around in the canter....I have absolutley no lesson help but when i ride my short pony(much shorter than yours) and my 15+hh horse I stick like glue and iv'e only ridden about 4years. Hm. But try useing you knees and thieghs a litttle more and you need to relax your seat bones. I'm sure your better now as this was nearly 5yrs ago. But just remember.

  • Just so you know, he was telling you to use your leg, and to stop hauling on his mouth. "Bareback" doesn't mean "abandon all leg aids."

  • if i ever do a bareback class i always ride a bigger horse with a very smooth gaits. its way more easy.

  • well it looks like you had fun either way, so you can look back and remember that!

  • Lol:) Cantering bareback is soooooo fun:$

  • Your pony was just telling you to stop pulling the reins, you're hurting his mouth.

  • EVERYBODY IN THIS VIDEO NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO POST BAREBACK!!!

  • how are you rising with no saddle?

  • @1002Lollipop Leg strength. You shouldn't use your toes to lift you from your saddle, You should post at the knee. I have never taken a lesson in my life and iv'e ridden only 4yrs, but just a month and a half of only bareback work I've figured it out. If you have your own horse at home I suggest much bareback practice, but only IF you do not use reins as handlebars and you have a strong seat.Or ride in the saddle with no stirups, practice posting from the knee and keeping the horse under you.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse I have been riding my horse bareback for a while now, I think I can rise bareback (kinder) but I find it much better to just sit, I also dont think my horse is suitable for bareback buuuuut ya know

  • @1002Lollipop If my horse didn't have such a great topline id'e abandon all hope of rideing him bareback because he also has very prominent withers. well good luck to you in that. I also like sitting much better, and even though I feel i am bouncing on his back I mentioned it to Lisa(My advisor, I have no lessons she's just more experianced than me and i can ask her things) and she said my seat looked fine. So i guess it depends. lol, as for kindness that depends too.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse I have an old thoroughbred with very prominent withers aha But it think it helps me stay centred, But when I ride bareback, and I rise I think i look silly, so I dont do it infront of people, so no ones seen if I do it properly

  • @1002Lollipop Lol, I'm self taught and i'm very critical on myself. XD Thats why i yell at people who comment on my vids rudely b/c I KNOW what i'm doing wrong. Haha. I know what you mean...it feels silly, haha. But when I look at the video i don't look too bad. But if i sit the trot, it's like my horse has a "barback" mode. Everything is smoother. Mybe it's him carrying himself along better, maybe it's me, maybe it's both, but it's smoother.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse I think when I ride bareback, and I sit the trot, I constrict the horses movement a bit, and it slows down. either that or my horse is just lazy

  • @1002Lollipop It's possible. lol

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse well, i think your an awesome rider!

  • @1002Lollipop Lol,why thank you i'm sure your great yourself!

  • oooo real deadly

  • ISN'T IT SO HARD NOT TO SMILE LIKE CRAZY WHEN YOU'RE RIDING BAREBACK? Hahahahaha. I'm the same way. It's so much fun that you can't help but smile. (: This was cute.

  • OMG! you are a rlly amazing rider!! i mean look at your post with bare back and your canter is soooo nice!!! this vid makes me sooo happy because its cool to see somone having a gr8 time!

  • Just to say I wasn't there that day but you should not have been riding in that slick of an arena. Not trying to be rude but for the safety of you and the horse.

  • @ilovehorses234 wasnt her choice. not be rude :P

  • u look WWAAAYYYY too big for that pony!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @jalwhinny27 She isnt big at all for that pony so zip it if you dont know what you are talking about

  • @HannuGirl10 i do kno wat im talking about and dont u see how far her leg goes down and how far up she goes on that ponys neck!!?? i no im too big for my pony and it still looks better than that. but sorry, i didnt mean to pop ur bubble or any thing.....

  • @jalwhinny27 Haha, u need ur mind checked . She is NOT big for that pony

  • @HannuGirl10 she would be able to rap her legs around her ponys stomach and her upper body is taller than her neck!!

  • @jalwhinny27 PFFT, the size doesnt matter, the weight does ! Freak -.-

  • you look really happy, but just a good horseman ship tip... don't ride bareback for a long period of time, its not good for a horses spine!!! any way beautiful horse to! what breed????

  • he didnt do anything you started fucking with his mouth:L

  • Haha, You sound like me, when my mare does that I just laugh and say " Don't you even try it,You ain't gettin me off mare!"

  • it is stobit

  • ....not even going to comment on the "death canter"... but i will just say, the song matches the intensity of the ride HAHA if u want a smooth canter, dont get a pony.

  • @cowgurlsdntcryss yea really Try a QH :)

  • cute!

  • he wasnt doing anything wrong, he was being good and setting his head. it actually looked better. i think you would've won if u let him set his head.

  • Comment removed

  • You call that a "death ride?" That is Nothing compared to what i do almost every day. Sliding stops, jumping, slids bareback and brideless. And one rein stopping when they really take off. i don't really see what the horse is doing wrong?

  • Um, he was going into HIS HEADSET FOR YOU, why did you rip his face out?

  • no offense but i really dot understand why you kept pulling his head up...he was making his neck round for you.....

  • you look too old and tall to ride that pony...

  • is this a a place called dremcres?

  • the same thing happened to me , but not bareback , this horse hadn't been out all day , so it was ready to go and cantered and i fell..

  • I love riding bareback:D

  • you are sick:)

If you call that death bareback riding and deny any piece of advice you get

  • giggle

  • You really messing up with your hands, why? When the horse needs to turn u do not have to pull him into the mouth, use legs and u will get less resistance. Pony looked calm, annoyed by pulling into the mouth, but I did not see any "death riding"

  • @katerina25ru go leanr to steer properly yourself instead of critising you asshole

  • @horse4051 katerina25ru was actually right althoughthe girl in the video wasnt that bad she should have used her legs to move him with a little guidence from her legs

  • @partygirl385 even if she was right, noone wants to hear her stupid negativee comments, who gives a shit, everyone rides differently i could look at your vids and be liike dont do that do this, etc but hey im not a bitch or a ass hole so maybe you and other retards fuck off and go eat your own shit

  • You look silly on him, you look way to big for him.

  • he didnt do anything? if you wouldnot be yanking on the bit and directed him with a quieter hand and closed reins.. you would not be getting the bulging shoulder

  • He did nothing wrong....? :o

  • Haha he wasn't doing anything wrong...

  • There is no way that was your first time cantering EVER, it must have been your first time cantering bareback?

  • @LucyInk121 it says it was her first time EVER riding him bareback and first time cantering... about the cantering part,i figure it was her first time cantering BAREBACK .. :)

  • @RememberLiveHope Yeh, i agree, it must have been her first time canter bareback. Slightly misleading!

  • yeah real " death class" wow. he barely did anything but try to lower his head. he is gonna have a fast canter cuz he is a pony but seriously. not trying to be rude, but he really wasn't doing anything but trying to have some fun.

  • @sophiaLprint who cares?

  • im sorry to ask but i was wondering if u always ride ponies?

and i dont mean to be rude but u seem a bit tall for the pony? (not being rude just askin)

  • may i ask the song name? thank you

  • When you line up at 4:42, it was like "tall horse, tall horse, sofren, tall horse" :D

  • beutiful seat and postion but you riped on the poor horses face use your seat try tucking your tail i call it sorry. altought your pony is soooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!

  • sorry dont get me wrong.. you have a nice position an you rode him well.. by why you feel the need to yank your horse in the mouth whilst trying to turn him i dont know. im trying to learn about natural horsmanship and maybe so should you.. you should not need to pull him in the mouth like that to make him do what you want but overall it wasnt bad :) and please dont take my advise in a really bad way.. its just something you can work on to improve your riding and the horses understanding

  • whoever hunter54able is sure western is easier but it is a great way to get comfortable on a horse when your a beginer so don't dis wester just because it is easier

  • love it! you seemed to have fun :)

  • see u gotta get a bigger horse, they tend to have smoother canters (most of them XD) *dreams of smooth bareback ride*

  • @cwysoski

Baha! Connemara ponys have the smoothest canter evver!!! :)

  • good job for ur first time cantering bareback with him :)

  • your hands are all over the place!!!!! death ride?

  • that looks like alot of fun i love riding bareback

  • wow, what were you doing?

  • wow, what were you doing?

  • That looks like tons of funn!! I love bareback! haha i rode a tiny pony like legit 11 hands and it was soo funn! :)

  • I bet at that point you were jealous of the people with bigger horses who have slower trots and canters (easier to ride), haha, but not a bad job!

  • omg, you guys are a little bit ridiculous. its okay to critique somebody but you need to do it in a appropriate way. it called constructive criticism.

  • lol, good job, but death ride? I wish!!! lol, and this isn't meant as a show-offy kind of tone, that's my horses' good behaviour!!! Good job for placing 5th still :D

  • you actually did really good!! bareback isnt super easy to do! so good job!:)

  • That was beautiful! Even if he did cause some trouble. XD Thanks for sharing this!

  • The arena looks wet.... Is that safe to canter? My instructor doesn't especially when you're turning.

  • wow english riders suck riding bareback i'm an indian but indians were born for bareback and you say you were laughing you crybaby the horse isn't the problem people like you pick fucks if your horse slips it's because of the person riding not the horse

  • @hunter54able oii shut the fuck up and also i know how to ride and im good and im not fucking indian

  • @ilarrvflicka geez calm down! lol

  • @hunter54able That is extremely racist and closed minded... anybody can be good at bareback...it has nothing to do with colour or race...

  • @hunter54able excuse me but english acctually have to grip the saddle to stay on i know i used to ride western and it is WAYYYYYYYYYY easier then english to hold on

  • @iluvhorsesjna hunter54ables comment was stupid but you dont need to bash western because of thier comment

  • @hunter54able wait what? first off native american. if you actually were of native blood you would know that. second off native americans weren't born to ride bareback they had to learn it as well. they were just closer to their horses and not as pig headed as most people today. i'm thinking you might be one of those people. and her riding doesn't suck she stayed on the pony and rode till the end her seat was fairly easy and yeah she was laughing the whole time so idk what your talking about

  • @LittleMustangMare i'm a guy

  • @hunter54able ..and? i didn't say you were male or female since i didn't know. I was commenting on the fact that one if you were native american you wouldn't have said indian and two that she was laughing(which idk why but you said she wasn't..) and three that she had a fairly good seat seeing as she states she had only ridden bareback once before on this horse at a canter.

  • Uhh, don't rip on your horse's face. Jackass.

  • never call it falling off.

call it the unscheduled dismount! lol

  • haha...better than me..lol.

  • I think you did great!!! i would have fallen off..

  • well look on the bright side your heels were down ;) and for the most part your posture was ace :D (far better than I can do) Gorgeous horse by the way

  • he didnt do anything badd.

  • im going to teach myself bareback, well with a friend, planning on getting it down good. i can only trot bareback tho.

  • wow, wie gut ihr leichttrabt ohne sattel, ich bekomm das nie hin :D :D

  • If it was only your second time, and first time cantering... why would u do it?? kinda stupid.

  • @Xxmojomanxx first time cantering on that horse bareback. only that one specific horse. she wanted to try i guess?

  • do most shows have bareback classes? i want to try one sometime xD

  • awwe , your horse is really cute !

good job on staying on and you did really well !

dont listen to the other know-it-alls . :)

  • clothes are too fancy lol jk Very Nice :)

  • that was adorable lol looks like u were having a blast, good riding

  • canter is easy to ride in bareback!..................

Unless your horse is acting up!:P

for me the trot is harder to sit that the canter (bareback)

  • why do a bareback class if you can not ride bareback ? .

  • @brookeywa she'd only ridden HIM bareback once before, that does NOT mean she hasn't ridden others bareback ;)

  • @Rooluver101 yes i understand that what i ment was why was SHE taking HIM in a bareback class If SHE couldnt ride HIM bareback well ???....................

  • @brookeywa I'd say she could ride bareback quite well considering everything that went on, and she stayed on. It was a pony acting like a pony. The other larger horses looked like push button horses. No fun.

  • your legs look long when your on that pony :D

  • haha ur horse was like "hmmm no saddle lets c what i can get away with! u did good for ur first bareback canter!

  • That horse is a DREAM, compared to some that I've rode bareback. Try hanging on to a bucking, rearing and bolting horse bareback lol. Although I still like to ride the wild ones bareback haha. I'm nuts dude.

  • lol i'm doing the same class this summer. it'll be my first time cantering bareback, too xD

  • whats posting :s english person dont no what it is

  • @midgeavictor posting or rising trot. you go up and down with the trot :)

  • I dont know why people think riding bareback is so scary and such a big deal.

I find it more comfortable. Especially the canter.

  • you rode well regardless. Props for staying on! :)

  • Very good for your first bareback canter..

  • Comment removed

  • its easy lol you bounce to the rhym then rise just like you have stirups but you use your thights and calf muscles more

  • @WildHorses159

oohh. i shall try that :P

  • @xdreampony

i wasnt being mean, shes a bloody good rider! i cannot do that to save my life xx

  • Ur a good rider!

  • and bits do hurt the horse mouth if u know anything some bits can break a horses jaw if not used correctelly

  • I love bareback! i actually prefer it over a saddle. lol ur horse is adorable! :)

  • i love bareback!! i actually prefer it over a saddle!! :) ur horse is adorab

  • Did anyone else see she was to big for the horse or all of u blind? And if u cant control that small horse don't ride at all, you were a hazard to everyone in the arena. And if you had been riding a horse correctly sized for you, you would have ended up in the dirt.

  • @buddysforever23 No she isn't.. she looks about the right size. Anyway, REALLY it's the weight of the rider compared to the horse anyway, not the height :)

Plus; she had no stirrups and the idea is to stretch your legs down as far as you can, so they'd look longer than they actually were. ♥

And ANOTHER THING - just because the horse is small doesn't mean it's easy to ride? In fact some of the time it's the complete opposite. She CAN ride, and she did a great job. (:

  • Do you even know what the horse and rider are supposed to look like in these classes? AND Do you even ride or care for horses or are you some dumb fuck trying to act cool and be a know it all and you looked crap up to say this?

  • LOL... I have a horse like that but I don't think I'd tackle a bareback class...nice job staying on..... :)

  • that looks like loads of fun! i really want to ride bareback but harvey(the horse i usually ride) bucks when you ride him bareback =s atm my confidence isnt too great but still id love to try it on a mellow horse ^^ btw check out my riding vids on my channel im not very good but i've only been learning for a year =s

  • how da heck do u rise trot bareback that well??? LOL hehe

  • by lots and lots of practice. I have to do it all the time.. its not fun at all...

  • its really hard but like anything it takes a lot of practice

  • uu look really gd x nd uu horse looked gd x :) nd its nice tuu c uu reward uur horse after x

  • I'm so happy I made the decision to not use bits...no offense or anything, you stay on well, but I doubt anyone in the ring would have fared so well without the bits :s

  • Bits don't hurt the horse at all you know. And most horses just have them as backup. The goal is to get your horse to work off leg. Plus, in hunters bitless bridles are illegal.

  • Oh dear! I probably would have fallen because I was laughing so hard! Its great to watch people having fun at a show! Thank you for sharing!

  • That one rider on the huge bay horse at 1:28 makes it look like a piece of cake. Any-who good job and best of luck at all of you up coming shows

  • How do you stay on like that??!?!? lucky!!

  • hahahaha this is an amazing video :DD

You're a really great rider, especially during his little hissy fit! way to be a great sport about him haha!

  • I really like that you rewarded your horse after, you dont see alot of people do that. Anyways good ride for the second time riding him bareback

  • i cant see it :( My computer is being stupid :(

  • I LOVE that you were laughing the entire time :D

    Made me smile!

And you make bareback riding look so easy ;) I so wish I could ride like that.

    Two thumbs up!

  • lol

  • I enjoyed your video. If this was only your second ride bareback -- kudos to you!!! I think the problem during the second canter was due to not enough leg and too much rein. Keep up the awesome work!

  • hahaha omg i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this it was sooooooooooooooo much fun lol harriet did i miss anything no just the end of the world lol

  • posting bareback is easy. it shows that you use you leg correctly when you are in the saddle. if you cant post bareback that means you use you leg more in you lower leg not you middle area.

  • hahahahaha how is it even possible to post bareback? lol i would have been llike on the ground the first stride:P

  • why are you rising in the bareback your ment to sit :s

  • um the judge said post. so lets keep the know-it-all to yourself unless you were there. k bye :]]

  • Rising isnt posing :S

    Rising is rising,

    Posting is posting.

  • ok. and nobody in america knows what rising is.

  • they would. trust me.

  • rising and positing are the same thing.

  • rising is sloping upward in a slow concice movement (i believe) where as a post is a bit quicker (useually counted out by novices as 1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) idk for sure but it looked like thundermyboi was doing it correctly the only time that she messed up was..well never, i mean yeah she lost control of her horse for a bit but hey she kept her composure so kudos and keep up the work ^^

  • @LittleMustangMare Hi, I Do Rising, An We Count 1,2,1,2 Aswell:P But We Dont Rise Slow As A Rule, It Just Depends On What Speed And Length The Horses Trot Is At:) At Least, Thats How I Learnt:Pxo I Thought Posting Was The Same Thing:') xo

  • wow i have NO idea how you guys posted bareback o_O great job!!! :D i never knew there was such thing!

  • @ThunderMyBoi Sorry I'll have to dis-agree not to sound bitchy but choose a better word than *nobody* please

  • rising and posting trot is the same thing

  • @Tayyyy103 well how do you expect someone to POST bareback without any stirrups??!!

  • @HorseRider4507 i have to this summer eventually, u use your kneeeees not the sturipps ;)

  • @breyerchick97 Ok guess what! You know how I've never ridden bareback before? I did the other day! It was so much fun! I trotted a bit too...LOVED IT!!

  • @Tayyyy103 rising trot is the same thing as posting trot

  • @Tayyyy103

I'm just curious, what is the difference? I was told they were the same thing?

  • @Tayyyy103 rising to the trot is the exact same thing as posting to the trot jesus christ google it!

  • @Tayyyy103 There are different Terms for posting and rising is one of them...

  • @Tayyyy103 you idiot its pretty much the same thing -.- rising trot/posting well in canada its all the same shit

  • @Tayyyy103 she said that the judge said POST not POSE... that means she had told them before starting that she wanted them to rise. learn to read before insulting people...

  • @Tayyyy103 rising trot and posting trot are the same thing =P

  • @Tayyyy103 Rising is posting, you idiot. Ever heard the term "Rising trot"?
