I'm a Derby fan but i envy them Liverpool fans that helped the fans that were being crushed right in front of them. The Police gave in to peer pressure and shouldn't have. As soon as they saw and knew it was getting full they should have either stopped access to the ground or moved the fans to emptier pens in the wings of that stand. No one should have died due to crushing, especially if the Police and other authorities had control of numbers of fans entering the ground and where they were.
