@fcarabat Well, let me disagree on that. The rev limiter goal is to keep the engine reliability guaranteed when you are actually riding your machine. You just can't start an engine and rev it at full from the start because the internal lubrication system will not reach it's optimal pressure level that quick. Hydraulic dynamics are very important and cannot be ignored otherwise you will short the optimal life of a bike not even knowing why.
