I immediately looked her up in the internet and I am utmost intrigued, touched, by her story. She is of japanese descent, mother -japanese. Her father - a funk band performer.

She sings about her upbringing, her travel that all helped her discover herself and place. She is mixed, and sings about that struggle where she was labeled "too loud , too quiet" and she admits she never felt like she fit in.

Her voice and story is a true inspiration. I am intrigued. And thankyou michael we are touched.
