  • why didn't they wear tabi?

  • @aurielMoon oh yeah- they thought it was stylish not too, and for erotic purposes

  • 芸者と花魁の違いって外国人には理解できないんだね

  • beautiful in so many ways xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • and this is why everyone thinks geishas are prostitutes

  • @MissMermaidAriel Because they don't know the difference between a geisha and a courtesan. An Oiran in her case.

  • @sketcha09 agreed :)

  • @sketcha09 No kidding. I know there are big differences in western and eastern culture but its still similar. Prostitutes in the west tend to dress a little flashy and provocatively. Same here.Oiran/ Courtesans are all about the bold colours, extravagant hair and looking provocative. Geisha are subtle in appearance by comparison. Are her feet bare? Are her shoes absurdly high? Is her hair and clothing decked out in extravagant accessories? Dingdingding! Oiran! :D *backs away reaaly slowly*

  • @MissMermaidAriel I don't understand, what's wrong with this? This a Japanese film, and it's historically correct. o.o Albait a bit pop cultured, but still veyr historically correct. o.o If you don't know, then research. ^^

  • @akissy

Actually, this movie does make an accurate historical portrait. Yoshiwara was hell.

  • @FadedSilkandGhosts I know, that's what I said. -w-U

  • @akissy Not all Geishas are prostitutes i'm not saying this is historically inaccurate, i'm just saying it confuses people because they will see girls like this and then they mistake all girls in kimonos as prostitutes.

  • @MissMermaidAriel Are you that thick? -w-** I'm fed up on the topic, but I'll make one last effort to educate you:

NO GEISHA WAS, IS OR WILL EVER BE A PROSTITUTE. How does this confuse people, you ignorant little girl? This is how Oiran and Tayuu dressed, OK? Research before you even try to refute my comment, because I've been reading and learning from this topic for a very long time. This movie is accurate, doesn't confuse ppl, and if it does... those ppl were very obtuse to begin with.

  • @akissy You tell em. :D

  • @Sims2VideoFunTime sorry XDD It's just that I really got mad, I mean what's so hard to understand?? x.x

  • HOLY SHIT! o.o

  • maaaan, i thought this was "the making of Sakuran" by "Shiina ringo"....

oh well, I was still entertained.

  • I've already watched this so many times and I still laugh when Kiyoha's a kid and runs from the woman telling her to get lost

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD I KNEW THAT FACE SOMEWHERE. ANNA TSUCHIYA? THIS MOVIE HAS HER AS THE MAIN CHARACTER? I FUCKING LOVE HER. MAINLY CUS OF NANA

  • I think I get it now, she pointed taht saying at kiyoha like trying to say she has no clients of her own so she tries to take others

  • Thank you for uploading this

    -3

  • I barely noticed that the courtesan that was speaking to Kiyoha, instead of panicking and calling for help, just laughs and enjoys the whole thing. She rocks XD

  • @Karmillina It also took me a while to notice they were all wearing the same colors, like a purple lining and she's all red

  • I like how the movie ended rather than the manga, unless there was more it ended when she said "I came back by myself"

  • The part 11 is gone?

  • AHA! SHE'S ICHIGO FROM KAMIKAZE GIRLS! AND Tamako FROM Paco and the Magical Book

  • Does anyone know what those little trays they have are all for?

  • @xShadowxPhoenix All i know, or i think i'm pretty sure...Its their pipes. o.o puff puff? ;D lol

  • @xShadowxPhoenix the trays are for food if they are in a resturant, some are for ashes from their smoking pipes and some are for money.

  • @xShadowxPhoenix

Japanese used trays for all sorts of things, eating, presenting gifts, etc but I think you mean the ones that sit in front of them while waiting for customers. Those are Tobako-bon, which house drawers containing tobacco as well as a kind of cup to dispose of ashes in. There is a stand usually in the handle to rest the Kiseru(pipe) upon when not in use.

  • @FadedSilkandGhosts it's Tabako and tabacco. ^^

  • I think "without a client , she tits at windmills" mean is Kiyoha's boy was gone so now she play wrestling alone. This girl wanna say Kiyoha is lonely so she made little bit ironic to Takao and she looks pitiful.

  • @Maaana143 Thanks :D

  • One thing that sucks about the girl who plays Kiyoha (anna) is she's an ass hole in real life

  • @xShadowxPhoenix Really? o.o I didn't know, thanks :D cool fact xD

  • @Sims2VideoFunTime Yeah like when she was a teenager modeling, since she speaks both japanese and english, she spoke in japanese insulting other models to their face, she's basically an alcoholic bitch

  • @xShadowxPhoenix Wow :/ That sucks. And that's really mean. Idc what language i speak id never insult someone for no reason at all.

  • "Without a client, she tilts at windmills" what's that mean?

  • @xShadowxPhoenix I, have nooo clue. xD

  • Well, I don't like the nudity but, it's expected in a japanese movie

  • @MOONFACEx2 Np ^_^ Ill be uploading the rest later :D

  • @Sims2VideoFunTime I like her as a little girl

  • @xShadowxPhoenix :D Hehe, me tew x3

  • Thanks for uploading this.
