I bought this album on itunes recently and this is my new favorite NUFAN song. I havent bought any of their albums since the 90's because all of their songs sounded EXACTLY the same( which isnt necessarily a bad thing, they do rock!), but this album was different all the way around. It almost sounds like Fat Mike singing the chorus which I'm sure drew me in seeing as how NOFX is my fave!

The album this song is from, uh, something album of the year, is more of a return to the Making Friends/Hard Rock Bottom type music. So, they got political with Keep Them Confused which was more of a slow beat sing-a-long album. Now you got political and more old school type NUFAN. Still a great band, been listening to them for years.

I'd say the album is more eclectic than that, yeah in mood they return to their older style in some songs, although perhaps the sound world and production are more in line with NOFX (although I'm not accusing them of servile imitation) a couple are in the more poppy vein, and some more chilled acoustic numbers. I agree that politics and more mature emotional response in the lyrics are a driving force for the album though.
