hello everyone my name is christian and i Choreographed this piece in High School.... this wasn't intended to be like the SYTYCD routine it was something else i guess i thought i saw in my head.. im aware its not the best but it's not horribe. if you want to try to diss my choreography come to my place and learn my new choreo and i assure you its a lot better than this with tons of musicality... so come to my place and learn some, and we'll see who will be dissing who :)
i think when you use a song / theme that's been seen on national television by an acclaimed choreographer who created a magnificent dance, it's almost impossible to avoid comparing this high school dance to the professional one on SYTYCD
Okay, I don't know what kind of critics you people think you are, but seriously, what's the point of posting hurtful, tasteless comments and comparing a HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION to a professional? I saw this piece performed and it looked better than on youtube. Not that the youtube version is bad. I really liked the choreography.
Oh, right. Someone thought they'd be a smart aleck and go through all the comments and thumb down all the positives and thumb up the negatives. That's real cool, guys.

Well, we can say that Wade Robson copied from Michael Jackson's Thriller, couldn't we? He was the first to think of up a synchronized zombie dance after all. :D
I have never seen a Wade Robison dance, so i cant compare. But... i thought this was a VERY poorly performed dance. THe dancers were very sloppy, and their character was not always there. While some may say you do not need a character it was just a dance, i think it is very important to have a character every time you come before people. Especially in a specialty number such as this.
This dance is barely even choreographed to the music. You guys have your heads stuck up your asses so far you cant even see how bad your dance actually is. A person who has never viewed a dance before should still be able to watch one

This dance is choreographed to the choreographer's concept not strictly to the song itself. not all dances should be like music videos and do exactly what the song or tune says. there are million types of dance that dont go with the music. JUST DEAL! learn about post-modern thought by looking up the song 4minutes 33seconds.

I think its about time people stop comparing EVERY single little thing to Wade Robson...SURE he choreographed an AMAZING piece but it doesnt mean every one else should do the same
The song IS themed around zombies but i really like this it looks spectacular
People don't imitate it to people's liking, they complain. Yet when they borrow a couple sections, people complain. You can't win. Either way this was really great. I danced a piece to this song as well. The videos are on my youtube.

I definitely love that song. Liked the intro a lot. For me, It looked really cool, but the lighting is like a dancers nightmare! BUT IT IS HELLA SICK LOOKING! I dig. :)
