1970 has to be my fav. Elvis period...he was just at his absolute best, especially live...i used to love watching the jam sessions from thats the way it is..i used to have it on vhs,but cannot find the dvd thats been put out...these sessions were all raw and completely off-the-cuff so to speak.thats what is so cool about these sessions he did, because he goofed up alot, and laughed and joked and dint have to worry about being completely perfect because he wasnt on stage, its just all of them jammin
Elvis didn't beat up or run off anybody. Of his original players, Bill Black had passed away, Scotty Moore & Dj Fontana had played on the 68 special just 2 yrs before, & were doing session work. See That's Alright & lawdy miss clawdy on my channel or any of these great "unplugged sessions" Here Elvis also had some greats like: James Burton lead guitar, Glen D. Hardin, Jerry Scheff, Ronnie Tutt--drums & John Wilkinson--NOT lame asses! Elvis does this in more a blues style than rock & roll.
Elvis was still in his glory days here--this is 1970, and of course he can stand. He went full out for 2 hours, 2 shows a night, for 6 days a week in this time period. Something nobody does now. This is the only time he sat down because he was doing more guitar playing. Elvis was keeping up in ALL areas because at this exact time period he started 3 longer affairs with singer Kathy Westmoreland, Barbara Leigh, & Joyce Bova & each complained of many other women--every night! Go Elvis!!

What Elvis needed was for someone to talk to him like that once in a while. He may have been alive today.
Couldn't count on you for that could we now.
Was this during his martial arts days? I ask becouse he apparently ran off or beat up all his good musicians. So here hes got a bunch of toned down lame asses. No chance of them sounding any better than Elvis. The drummer is trying god bless his heart.

Sorry friend, maybe in your little world.
Like I said, take a nap Elvis and come back and play it right. This is a slowed down junky compensating for glory days. Look at him. He cant even stand up anymore.
En el año 1963 aparte del exito de Elvis, los Beatles y Bob Dylan la musica pop se disponia a vivir una transformacion tan grande como la propiciada por Elvis en los años 50.Datos libro y CD periodico.
Elvis played mean rhythm guitar on his 50s work and also on 68 comeback listen to him play trying to get to you and baby what you want me to do,he didnt need to shred the guitar or even try to be a great guitar player he had the likes of scotty moore and james burton backing him,he mastered his voice,he also played the piano good aswell, winds me up when people post shit like that elvis was faking the guitar.
he did too lisen to more Elvis before you go posting a stupid comment like that! he was playing a bass ultra 7 chord minor refillament lol jk but he does play guitar i'm a big fan I also can sing just like elvis Video will be up soon of Blue swade shoes.
E was so cool in the studio sessions -- joking around, etc. had all the videos, read the books, got the postcards, even had his cookbook!!!!!!!! gotta have me some E eveyday!
Elvis sings this jewel better than anyone. It's one of my favorite Elvis songs ever. It's such a perfect and exciting track. Elvis will always be #1. I'm so very honored to be an avid Elvis collector. That footage totally rocked. Thank you so very much for making and posting that electric and magical video, 5 Stars.
