Dis iz really sad especially seeing a Haitian like me going through this situation. I wish da Haitian government finds a way to stop this kind of livin because it is unacceptable.
@youngpimp509 Thanks for your comment.I'm glad that an Haitian like me understand and know that this system of restavek is unaccepatble.Those kids need people who can love them,respect them and always be there for them.They're children, let's not put them down.We need them to be strong haitians for a strong Haiti in the future.

Even in the United States...especially in the 1960s and 1950's and earlier there were many children in foster homes were used as a free labor source. The foster parents even got money for these kids.Public and Church Social Services who sent out children to families were often lax in finding out how some children were treated.
