  • @TheGreenWeedWizard Why don't you move, damn it? :D

  • @itsinfy a chessy generation...

  • @TheGreenWeedWizard that im unfortunately stuck in

  • toon..!

  • @itsinfy Call me old-fashioned then.. but dnb (and most of its sub-genres) nowadays is nothing more than some louzy repetitive beats and cheesy synths that some wannabe artists/drug users pluck out of their noses 'cause the "mainstream" tells them it's something "cool and fresh".

Look what happened to dubstep.. They're making Rihanna dubstep-remixes these days, wtf..? Dnb is nothing more than a "boom-tchick" with added modulated static..

    Thank god for the underground!

  • @SmeurkeDeKat i understand you in a certain way, d&b and dubstep are both two syles who reached their max peaks in this last times, it is a fact that no1 can denie. however this massive wave of new producers are just making it become mainstream...i dont have nothing against it but i find hard to enjoy those new tracks you know my opinion ? both should never gone away form the garage.

  • @SmeurkeDeKat Not all D'n'B is shit, some is fucking mint, but it's always the less mainstream/lesser known tracks, so yeah I agree about keeping it underground.

  • @johnnycagetheboss I'm sorry if I made it sound like all current dnb is shite. I know that's not the case ;)

  • @SmeurkeDeKat No problem, I knew what you meant. :)

  • Well known or not dj,cut the mid range drop the bass! You know that!

  • Awesome how many memories can just flood back with one tune.

  • 1989 - 1992 were the best years in my opinion. even flashback ( as hard as they might try ) cant recreate what was a top quality scene and as urban shakedown drummed into our heads " we'll live as 1 family. TOP 1 NICE 1 GET SORTED.

  • Thankyou, So so much.

  • Reminds me of being of my face in my mates Golf heading down to a beach party in Shoreham. Good times. So many great parties all legendary in their own little way.

I can't stand these y gen cunts who go clubbing, think Pitbul is music and spend most of the night taking photos of themselves.

Old ravers never die, it just takes us longer to recover. Peace

  • This is fucking great, reminds me of being of my tits in the back my mates Golf heading down to Shoreham for a party on the beach. I can't stand all those gen y cunts who think Pitbul is music.

  • this reminds me of lee bouncing on the top of my car at pear tree roundabout services oxford,,,,waiting for the convoy to head out........ :) luckily he didnt dent the old shitbox's roof :P

  • ...Respect to you Browno, great uploads all the way.

  • @PatsyBailey : "getting old..." Naah,

u said it just b4–there hasn't been the same beautifully orchestrated, mind blowing tunage in solidarity since the Hardcore days. This is the Generation X sound!! & its' vibes were ahead itself (as our predecessor's sounds/culture of the flower power era). It's only the X-gen w selective others, who could fully taste and grasp what 'Cut Da mid range*Drop Da Bass...wihoo...yeah' was_is all about -✌"

  • LABRINTH @DALSTON!

  • Remember raving to this?Im laughing too.Great times.Hardcore forever:-)

  • This track epitomises the mid-late 1991 hardcore scene. To me, it is so momentous that I can actually remember the date, time and venue that I first heard it. I can even remember the dance that some ginger-haired guy was doing in front of me.

It's a fucking classic, and I am one of the luckiest people in the world to be at the right age and in the right place at the right time.

Hardcore - you know the score ;)

  • WOOHOOO This just Blows ya Socks Off !!! :D in ya face :)

  • nicely nicey nice..proper tune

  • oh yes : ))

  • @kungfudaz

There are two idiots! god dammit! burn them all! :-D

  • Kids don't have personal Culture today. Dj's don't believe in music and kids have nothing to hear. It can be expressed much more but people don't have words and mind to say. How can you produce and listen 3 "click sounds on 808 kick @ 125 bpm in 7 minutes? music is boring and without feeling. You can not be raver with "schranz" shirt, contempt to everything else and 10 cheep Ecstasys in mouth. How kids can be drugged 5 days before party youst to survive cheep house, minimal or schranz?

  • should have stayed at home"! (nose extends) ;]

  • AWw my gosh wow and i almost never say that. Fuking deadly tune my favourite of alll time even thoe i turned junglist in 93 still my fav. most memorable as is "we are Hardcore" Two musst have tracks to ur collection

  • One of the more cult tracks. i reckon the government brought the shit pills into the scene to get on top and stop it along with the crim. justice bill in'94. Why else did those pills go bad late '92? Alright, I'm paranoid, nostalgic and past it!

  • you say that but in 92 my mates mum who was an old hippy used to look at our pills and acid and laugh. she saw and took the stuff in the 60's that were 5 times the size and the power!

  • @all6inthelast You might be onto something...

  • Kick-ass, my brother, who's 10 years older than me, used to blast this type of stuff all the time in his room

  • ahhh now this can send shivvers up my back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! graham gold at camden palace, wish i was born in the late 70s, i had to be born in 95 :( by then the scene fell off a cliff and is still at the bottom of that same cliff now. my fav oldschool tune to have been created but the fact is there is so much of the good stuff i cant get enough of it!

  • 2 true mate, 93 to the start of 96 was when I was part of the scene. Happy Days :D

  • In stereo aswell, nice one browno

  • cut the midrange, drop the bass!

    1:37

    3:25

one of the best tunes around that time. we've lost something.

  • absolute classic... loved it in the clubs and round my mates after the clubs.... wicked days and wont be matched by anything nowadays.... watered down version of what the scene was at this time.... diluted and weak now!!!!

  • Top top tune - one of my all time favourites xxx

  • THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!

  • Proper hardcore!

  • does anyone know where that vocal clip comes from? it's also used on ray keith's remix of "chime" by orbital... i'd love to hear the origin of the "fire burning" sample.

  • Baby D Daydreaming is the original.

  • possibly lee marrow - pain

  • Soooo deadly!

  • Shit man one of the best tunes ever in my humble opinion!!!!!!

  • yeah camden palace tune ..was there most fridays ..wicked people wicked vibes....windowpanes..woooooooooo ..multi coloured lazers bouncing of the mirrors

  • Yes bredda! Camden was rockin', great crowd in there, great atmosphere, around 92 was top nights, all these tunes, squirrel in full effect on da decks. there was a lot of love in da house! Luton Crew 92', went camden every friday for 3 years solid! now when can you say you go out that much and have a top night every fucking time! Now you know what it was about. Nothing comes close these days. Peace Camden Crew

  • i went to camden palace for a back to 89 a few months ago, top tunes, bad atmosphere

  • what you mean? bad meaning good? or bad meaning bad?

  • bad meaning bad loads of fights there, not like when i used to go in the early 90s

  • thats a shame, to be honest it ws getting like that towards the end of 92' attitude kicked in..the drugs werent working anymore, charlie had arrived and dropped like a boulder. ah fuck it. 90-92 was the best time there i'd say

  • Why do you reckon people were fighting? I was born in 91 so I missed all the raves, Im so pissed off about that. I still appreciate all the music though, like Egyptian Empire, New Class A, Kaotic Chemistry, Rhythm Section, NRG etc. Todays music is shit in comparison. I get really pissed off when people my age say theyve been to raves, and act like they know all about it, when all they listen to is pendulum.

  • well said mate you will never get the 89 -92 days back again

  • aboslutly agree i was born in 91 would kill to go bk to 89 and be turning 18! people round my end listn to new skool hardcore havnt got a fukin clue thnk there all bad listening to comercialized shit haha ive got alot of respect for oldskool and in my eyes it will never die

  • @MrJack141516 DEEP breathe and let all that go! (smeres vapor rub on face) ;]

  • @MrJack141516 Same thing here (1990). Our kind should Should meet up to build a timemachine and leave them kids "pretending" with their cheesy Netsky and Pendulum.

  • @SmeurkeDeKat Hahahaha love it!!!!!! we could show 'em a thing or two...

  • @SmeurkeDeKat hahahah nice one mate....

  • @SmeurkeDeKat Yeah if they ever invent ways to travel in time, these would be the years I'd visit for certain. No doubt if they ever do invent ways to do that, the government will keep it for their own use, military etc. Being in the wrong decade is so unfair.

  • Mate we must have bumped into each other or hugged! Used to go there every Friday and knew Squirrel and Chris Paul.

Bugger used to charge me a tenner for a tape of the night!!! Wicked wicked times though sadly missed

  • yer man them were the day wat a tune :)

  • Top old Camden Palace tune
