No. Lemieux had his talent, twice his vision, and Gretzky had 3 times his vision. He was a great player, probably top ten in terms of pure skill, but in terms of greatness he barely cracks the top fifty.

Well first you have the speed he was comming at the goalie with. At that speed any move no matter how small could be the move and not a deke. Add that to his ability to read a goalie, if you watch him, he is always looking at the net minder and not the puck. Thats how he did what he did

yeah you got it... basically comes down to his mind blowing speed. Most players can't even keep the puck on their stick if they can manage to skate that fast, let alone make any moves. So when a player can, it's hard for a goalie to react.

probably the most exciting player in the history of the NHL period! Gretsky, Orr, Howe, They all racked up more points and goals but none of them could match the speed, skill and blatant cockiness of the Russian Rocket. Bure doesnt deserve to be in the hall of fame, he should have his own hall.

umm, just to the maker of this vid, bure wasnt the original russian superstar, that goes to valery kharlomov, but deff bure's good, not trying to debate that point, as for bure and jagr, im gonna have to go with jagr as more of a goal creator, definitely bure's faster, better with the puck, and a more lethal goal scoring weapon, but jagr is better for the team, at least in my opinion.

nice video well put together- Yes ive seen him play live aswell and have followed his career closely. Its a real shame he had to retire so soon. The most exciting guy ever in my book-excellent skills, surigical with the puck and great on breakaways.
