I remember reading the Andrew Morton biography on Tom Cruise (fascinating about Scientology) that at one point Tom wanted to be a priest. I think there is a complicated relationship between sexual repression, fear, and childhood trauma that attracted him in the first place.

I was in the sea org, I signed up in Orange county, though some of the things they say are true, they present themselves as victims.
