@KimClune Exactly what were these treats? I saw where you mentioned dental treats and the food brands Wellness and The Honest Kitchen. Our Foreign White has some issues with most brands of food. Since it sounds like most of your cat diet is mostly kitty health food I was curious. I'm tired of not being able to give our cat treats. Thanks for your video post. Hope Jed and the rest of your family are well!

This must be the famous "mine" syndrome that cats get, regardless of the loot. It was a fascinating video. The cats expression was amazingly detailed. Was there catnip in the treat?

@afroschlan No catnip. Just dental treats. Jed had Pica as a kitten so he'd eat anything from wicker baskets to Styrofoam insulation. When actual food content was present, he wanted it - and bad. I wonder if this is why he was so intent. Thankfully, he has since recovered from the Pica. His diet had always been high quality Wellness canned food and now re-hydrated meats from The Honest Kitchen, but this was a difficult phase and our main concern was to keep him safe. Thus removal of the bag.

@KimClune Very interesting. I had no idea, until now, that eating non-food items had an actual name regarding felines. So there was a potential that he would have eaten the bag along with the treats. The video did indicate that he had no problem just eating the bag along with it. Did he naturally pass the wicker basket fragments and the styrofoam or did it have complications?

@afroschlan Pica applies to humans as well, from eating chalk, baby powder, and other non-food items habitually. And you're right. Jed would have eaten the bag too. The only time we had a real issue was when we first learned of his condition. He ate the entire fleece string from his wand toy and nearly required surgery to untwist it from his intestines. Thankfully, his ultrasound didn't show that he had chewed it into small enough sections to pass on its own. So scary, to say the least.

@chupie I wish I had an answer for you. All my music is licensed through SmartSound so I can use it publicly without fear of copyright issues. Sadly, I don't remember which specific song came from their catalog aside from the fact that the version (each song has several versions) was called the Tango.
