I never get why they don't have a special intro for ryu and terrgy on the games since they're the poster boys for their brands,yet terry and ken have an intro..Besides Ryu bouts against akuma all the time,and akuma would kick Terry's ass easily:)

Now by checking all of the comments, I must say something. As far as KOF goes it has NOT BEEN PROVEN that Terry was defeated by that flamethrowing jerk Kyo Kusanagi or Iori Yagami(who is the most overrated)or K- Dash. KOF tournaments is a team battle...Terry's KOF is one on one.

In the game KOF Kyo Terry and Kyo sparred...there was no evidence Kyo won which makes him also overrated. So to the person who made that statement can go somewhere. Terry and Ryu are definatley equal.

Watch Fatal Fury the movie... Terry talks normal man. And there's no way Terry would win, Terry hasn't won a single KoF Tournament against Kyo and Kyo is on the level of Ryu. Which means... Actually, Terry is the only one out of those character to have COMPLETELY destroyed a 'GOD'. The God of War for that matter. I've seen some Street Fighter Canon, like Alpha, and I have yet to see Ryu destroy an actual God. So, I must respectfully retort that Terry is indeed on a higher level then Ryu. (Unless you are talking about when he's younger, and not the Fatal Fury Motion Picture). If Ryu is better then Terry, then Ryu must also be above Geuse and Krauser... which is saying alot.

Have you follow Terry's story line above the movies? Like the KoF series or Garou: MoTW? Ryu is rivaled to Kyo, who can rival against Orochi, a God. Kyo has also beat Terry or has out done him sense his appearance, along with other characters like Iori Yagami and K' Dash. If Ryu is rivaled to Kyo, and Kyo can beat Terry. I think it's obvious Ryu is on a higher level

I haven't had the pleasure or the funds to play the entire KoF series, and to tell you the truth I'm basing my Ryu information on the small amount of canon I know of. So in the end, when I see what I've seen Ryu do, compared to what Terry has done, I can't help but feel Terry isn't as weak people put him down to be. It may be a bit narrow sighted, but I can't fork out money to get all the canon, and in that case, I cannot experience every drop of it. Respectably, I see where you are coming from.

the power grid on each character is very simple, even the roster it self of capcom vs snk makes it clear. being a terry fan over a ryu, doesn't mean anything, i like both characters personally. but terry is capcom's ken and kyo is capcom's ryu. if the roster don't point that out, read the manga's. if that don't help, look at their accomplishments. both game and anime canon. terry has been defeated before. ryu has not been defeated once, in official fights.
