I was introduced to this song while in college working for our school radio station. It helped peak my interest in meditation. Who would have thought over 40 years later I would still be meditating. Inf fact, I love meditation. One <3 peace
Just last night, I listened to the song called "Almost Summer" by celebration, mainly consists of Mike Love and his friends. The sax in the middle of the song was played by Charles Lloyd!
@chichijunk Me too!!! I have checked here at youtube from time to time...nothing. I thought I was imagining this song... otherwise how could it not be on YT? But now here it is! I probably only heard this a couple times in my life, god knows where or when... but somehow it stuck with me. We have something in common. Peace
Thanks so much for posting this song!!! I've been searching for it for months. I remembered hearing it when it came out in 1972, but couldn't remember who did it. I always thought it was the Beach Boys since their voices dominate this recording. I only recently discovered that it was actually from an album by Charles Lloyd called "Waves." Very obscure -- I love it!
Please post the track 'Wave's from the self titled Album, Wave, by Charles Lloyd.
Thanks.

It''s about Transcendental Meditation as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Learn the real thing and stop bullshitting about it.

@Chiefjohncrow If you saw the Doors in Aug '72, it was without Jim Morrison, who died in 1971.
Meanwhile, the original album TM is from is great. There's a terrific song, Majorca, on it.

I knew that there is another upload source by acoles51 by the title "TM in AM and PM the Beach Boys".
Sometimes it is very difficult to search the uploaded file with a little different title!

Yes, I found that other YouTube video, with home movies of the Maharishi, etc. ... but the sound quality is not too good on that one.
