This is the best ever! It makes all the figures, especially Rose, actually look alive and if they are moving! You should win an Oscar for all your really good work! I've subscribed and added this video as a favourite! 5 stars!
Basically the way I do animation is to spend hours and hours on it. You won't get good results if you rush it, and if you're not happy enough with it... bin it. There's stuff cut from this video that you won't see, 'cos I wasn't happy with it.

Just spend a lot of time on it basically... there are special stopmotion programs that you can use a webcam with - but I prefer to not use those. I just take loads of photos on my digital camera, then stick it all together in Movie Maker- yup, that crashy one- then review it.
And as you can see you can get some pretty good results with basic stuff!
