Yes, they are a Christian band, and I love me some Jesus, but why can't people enjoy the fact that they're basically saying "carpe diem" and not make it about "Well it's a good song, but it might be about God, so I can't like it." Get overrrr yourself.

My friend died while crossing the street when we were in fourth grade.
My dad just died in July due to Pancreatic Cancer.
My sister almost lost her husband because he's in the army.
My friend's mom wanted to kill herself but didn't because she found a little book he had that was about his family.
I wanted to kill myself because my dad was my best friend, but I heard this song.
My 'brother' came home safely to my sister and their year old son and now, she's pregnant with a little girl.

When ever I think of my grandma that that just died a year ago I listen to this song and try to feel better I just wish i had another chance to tell her i love her the last thing i said to her was "I love you"

hey everyone...why is it happening again first Kevin dies in 8th grade now its 9th grade and i got a call and i have to pick which day of the week to skip school so i can visit my grandpa in a hospice." @animeawesomeaura all I can say is i know how you feel. In a year and a half i lost my great grandmother, my dog, and my three best friends moved away. I can only tell you that everything will be alright. Just stay strong and know that there is always something good in everything no matter how dark it might seem. I should know.

I lost my mom when I was 11. That was the worst thing that could have ever happened to me. But I'm still strong because that's what she would want me to do. Me and her used to sing this song whenever we were sad. <3
