  • BE CAREFUL WITH THAT PRODUCT. A "SILKENER" IS JUST ANOTHER WORD FOR MILD RELAXER!!!!!! im not sure about the cream but I know the silkener process is going to give u that Jerry Curl look

  • @SorryMrsJackson92 I don't even use Miss Jessie - it smells too bad. I gave it all way.

  • @SorryMrsJackson92 The stretch silkening creme is just a styling cream. But yes, the silkener is basically a texturizer - a $400 texturizer at that!

  • The smell is not the only concern. I've tried the pudding, merange (excuse the spelling) the effect of the curls are nice for a month or so and then the hair dries out and breaks. I was new to natural hair products and had no idea what mineral oil would do. Trust me, this product is an expensive way to remove lenght and thin out your natural hair.

  • @galeyrobins. You know I totally hate the smell of this line; however, to be fair. I believe they have removed the mineral oil and petroleum from the products. None of my items had that listed in the ingredients. I still don't like it though. Thank you for sharing this comment, I only tried limited products once so I did not suffer any long term damage. wooo - sah!

  • Really like your hair texture! :)

  • the baby buttercream smells delicious though. you should have smelled it. lol you were quite biasd towards the end but i totally understand. i think the curly pudding smells like grape.

  • I'm totally with you about smells, girl! Even if a product is good if I can't get past the smell it's a no go. The curly pudding is okay ... I think it will look better on my hair as it gets longer. I'm okay with the rapid recovery smell. It didn't really smell lke anything to me.

  • @girlabee There are just better products out there that are cheaper and smell better that work better on my hair.

  • Maybe you could find something to cut the smells, like Jane Carter's leave in spray. Miss Jessies has unsented products also I believe. I live in St Louis and I liked that store,I only bought Mixed Chicks from there.

  • @rbjo15

There is only one product that is unscented and it's the unscented curly pudding. Isn't that store awesome. I was so impressed with the customer service!

I guess my point is you shouldn't have to cut the smell. If I am paying $20.00 for a product at least it could be pleasing to my senses and beat what I already have in current product circulation. KBB beats Ms. Jessie

Again I don't like very perfumy stuff but I am sure there are alot of people out there who loves their scents.

  • @rbjo15 Ah negative, the smells is just too strong.

  • Maybe you could find something to cut the smells, like Jane Carter's leave in spray. Miss Jessies has unsented products also I believe.

  • @rbjo15 They only have one unscented product & that is the curl pudding.
