Save up 2000 gold, and you can learn up to level 60 or so in whichever fighting method you like whilst getting your pickpocketing skill up to level 100. I learnt one handed techniques from that companion dude and pickpocted everything that i payed him, there by constantly increasing my pickpocketing skill until you got the 50% increase in chance of stealing gold perk, making it very likely that when you pickpocket gold you will get it without arousing suspicion. did with archery too. simples

@186mjn Yeah. Once you get to level 50 there is a soft cap and any skill upgrades don't go as far towards you level as they first do. After that with all your skills maxed the top level is ~80 I think.

Way to get 100 pickpocket in less than 15 minutes -

Go to Riften and get jailed - remember which cell you're in.

Serve your time, then enter the door behind which is the jail, kill ALL guards inside there should be 3 of them, take Jail key from a guard, go to your cell and put 1000 gold and the jail key in drawer.

Get jailed again, take stuff from drawer, kill guards, go to Sibbi in cell opposite yours, give him enough gold so you have 30% chance of taking it then take it back, repeat until 100.

Its bullshit cuz eventually you have to increase a level to train again. Its good if you want to gain a litte quick and eazy xp in pickpocketing however dont anybody think there getting 100 in pickpocket anytime soon by simply doing this.

@RResistance No man, you get one level up from the training, one from the pickpocket; every single time. That's 10 level ups, which is more than enough to level up your character, so you can do it again.

ok, so now im at level 60 pickpocketing, and silda is taking about 1500 gold per training session, when i try to steal that back, im given a 0% chance of success. so ive got to build the rest of the way by swiping stuff from other people

Guy if you want to raise sneak just sneak behind one of the greybeards while they are kneeling down and attack them from behind (when hiden or else they can attack back sometimes). Whatever weapon you use levels up also, like archery or one handed etc. I know this works on my xbox without update, not sure about others.

@sgchaffin find cicero north of whiterun, do the quest so the guards say he's goin to jail, get your reward, then go down and sneak attack the shit outta him. sheathe weapon everytime he goes to the ground and you can keep going forever

Great way to get your archery up is to get faendahl in Riverwood to follow you then have him train you then go to trade and take your gold back. Rinse and repeat

I did pickpocketing in 15 mins:

Make sure you have 70 conjuration and have the conjure dremora lord spell

1) go to riften and get arrested

2) lockpick your way out of the cell (set difficulty to novice for this step)

3) kill the guards using the dremora lord

4) get about 1000 gold out of the prisoner item box

5) go to sibbi blackbriar cell and give him about 50 gold to start with, pickpocket it back and repeat (increase the amount you give him every 5 levels or so) until you give him the 1000 :)
