  • uhhh. 22r is definitely faster than 20r. but if you want real power. and have the money. find someone to do a 3.4 tacoma egine swap to the late 80's yotes. hell of a difference. preferably into a 3.0 chassis tho. that way you don't have to move motor mounts or trani mounts. you have to if you got a 22r chassis. i think the worst part, besides wiring can be the exhaust tho. you have to get the right year taco, cuz fitting it in front of the firewall is a b...

  • @gunlawzsuck oh yeah... and if you do it in the 22 r. you are also looking at lengthening the rear, and possibly shortening the front drive shaft. just fyi...

  • nice truck i got a 81 with 34x9.50 swampers and 3.73 gears, warren lockers, ur 20r is actually better than my 22r

  • Needs that front end locked up

  • I have a 1980 Toyota 4x4 with a 7 inch lift and have had as tall as 36 inch tires now I am running 33's getting better on our Government gas at the high prices when we get our country straightined back out and have normal gas prices I will put 36's back on it.

  • Is that you tim? lol

  • tiempo de comprar pasos nuevos

  • dont care what any one says , yota rules !!

  • ahhh dude!!! dont ruin the 1981 22 R5!!!

your a dumb ass, bc if you keep it mint, then its worth LOTS of cash.

and you dont put 34 or 35's on it... fucking stupid idea man!

  • @1981TOYOTA1981 its a 20r not 22

  • @1981TOYOTA1981 why is it a stupid idea to put big tires? mine looks just like this i got 35x12.5 an a 5" lift but mine is 5speed 3.0v6

  • @mikesandytoes 3.0 is worst motor ever -_-

  • @yotacrawler1 lol i know but etleast it has more tourqe then the 2.2 4 banger...as long as you have money to fix it its fine

  • @mikesandytoes ok. you can tell i'm a yota guy. i've made a few posts in a few minutes. but i gotta clarify. the 22 r is a 2.4 liter. the 22 is just the engine model number.

  • @gunlawzsuck ya i didnt mean to put the period in there tryin to type to fast

  • @mikesandytoes my bad. there are allot of people that think it is a 2.2 L tho.

  • thats what i have!!!!

how did u put those rims on it?

and how much did your tires cost?

  • Once again elwrongo! I have 7 X.J's and have had several others. Average 25 and Have had 2 that got 27 mpg and a couple get 23 mpg. Ok, best I ever got out of a toyota was 20 mpg with average of 15. Oh and every bump caused my head to bounce off the door frame LOL. Been there done that, some day you will make the switch and when you do you will wonder what the Hell you were thinkin with a jap rig.

  • LOCKERS!

  • Lol. Yea my jeep only gets 27 mpg with 38s with a 4" lift and the light weight unibody doesnt flex, my suspention does yo! Yea I can buy 3 for the price of your yotas that just think they can, think they can think they can. Lol Yea the dana 30s so far have out lasted about 30 of my birfields bro, and they are much faster to repair. Not that I have ever needed to lol.

  • @puddlejumper98

OK your full of shit,27mpg? yeah right they dont even come near that stock you dumbass.

  • @puddlejumper98 jeeps suck ballz... sounds like you need a better mechanic to me. i've only seen one broken birfeild, and that's becuase the guy who put the knuckles together didn't seal it good enough, and water easily leaked in, thinning out the grease, causing excessive wear and tear. jeeps wheel base is too short, and their lame ass coil springs will pop out if you do too much flexing. repairs are easier, and cheaper on yotes.

  • All yota blow ball! get a xj and you will see new places and faster.

  • J.E.E.P., just empty every pocket!

#1 unibodies should remain in cars, not 4 wheel drive station wagons, #2 Dana 30's and 35's are no match for a toyota 8 inch, #3 how many times do you have to refuel on your weekend wheeling trips with your 4.0 gas sucker?

  • one tire fire!!!!!!

  • i swaped in a 1UZ-FE in mine...thats the best of both worlds.... small V8 and light plus it stays all toyota

  • ha my yoda looks exactley like that but with a tool box on the back nice truck

  • nice little pickup

  • glad its a 20r the v6 blows balls

  • is that a 1980ish single long bed

  • nice vid

  • Beat on it and it will go. If you dont beat a Yota they just wont go...lol

  • what lift and tires?

  • that yota is sweet. what motor? 20r or 22r with 20 r head?

  • ya right, v6 bitch

  • we all know the 4cyl last, unless its a 3rz then i dont want the v6

  • Are you saying the 3RZ does not last?

  • thats no v6

  • That was a nice little run there drop the diff and weld the front you coulda walked right through there i think are you from NH by any chance I'm always lookin for guys to wheel with

  • yeah thats pretty sweet

  • what lift is on that? and tires? sweet 1st gen
