@amor60643rezurektd I went to a Christian School and a Christian college where we studied EVERY book of the bible in great detail. You're taking that verse out of it's context. The Hebrews said that to Joseph when he told them to give 1/5 of their crops to Pharaoh and in exchange they would be allowed to settle in Egypt.
Exodus 1:11 says it all "So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh."

@Principleofevile Yeah I know ALL of Egypt was part of it but all i'm saying is they weren't exempt. But they made that choice do to the famine! The U.S is doing the same thing! You buy a house you hit a financial famine the Bank takes that land and you become a SLAVE to debit!! Not out of context! For the debit to till the land they were INDENTURED. But After comparing the 3 stories Jews, Egyptian, and Nubians it is clear! What most people fail to realize is Governorship in Egypt was also called "PHARAOH". Moses was a Pharaoh. Because of this what is often lost on the contemporary popular view of Egypt - Greece - Rome [in that order] is that they did not hold OUR views [issues] of "race". We usually stransplant these false notions onto them. Therefore it only makes since that the Ptolomies would keep Africans [Nubian or ORIGINAL Egyptians] close to the royal heiarchy because it gave the Greeks legitimacy. This really should not have been a surprise for professionals only the public. The professionals are susposed to have objectivity while the public often falls for what is popular. Since the 18th and 19th centuries Western scholars have attempted to legitimize European aggression by establishing and spreading their "master race" theory into Literature, the Arts, Sciences as well as the emerging fields of Psychology and Egyptology.
