The standards of evidence is more rigerous in science than in religion. For example a book is never considered scientific evidence, it may be a record of the evidence but it's backed up by tangible evidence. We don't believe water is H2O because it says so in a book. It is most likely that energy membranes on different dimensions clashed in such a way that the energy came pouring into the t-s curvature that we know as our universe. The reason it has to be taken off is because it no longer fits inside the mouth because humans use forks, knives, etc that help us digest the food and makes it easier to chew food, thus making those extra teeth useless so the mouth started to become smaller. Younger generations no longer grow wisdom teeth because of that, evolution. Ask a young person. I'm 22 and know people older than me that never had wisdom teeth.

If you are talking about genesis and exodus you are the one who has to prove that it actually happened. Not otherwise. As far as im concerned, the only thing the bible has ever predicted that can be hold as a prediction is the state of Israel rising.

I agree with some other responses that if this kid knew even the slightest thing about the universe then he could actually use that knowledge to back up the existence of a "creator". Unfortunately, he has been bible-washed

you compare evolution to creating a watch from simple parts through a random process. since you are using this analogy you have already shown your viewers that you are uneducated. While I don't believe in god, I pray that you close your youtube account and spend a year reading some science books. Then after you learn the basics of science and evolution you can come back and make a better analogy.

Then you complain that we can't know what our ancestors look like because we have no fossils. Well we do have fossils. Hundreds of fossils. And since our DNA indicates that we share a common ancestor with other primates then its no surprise that our ancestors would look like a hybrid of a monkey and human. Oh and if you thing that 7 billion people isn't a huge population then you are just pathetic.

Evolution is such a precise and intricate system. I'm surprised that you aren't arguing that evolution is proof of a designer because of how ingenious and precise it is. You would be more convincing that way but instead you are just spewing fallacies all over the place.

You also said that evolution is like getting parts and jumbling them up and getting a whole functioning thing. That is not how evolution works at all. The first beings did not come from the same materials modern life is made out of. You obviously lack a basic understanding of evolution because you have no idea how it works. Do you know what natural selection is?

The bible is NOT evidence that god exists. The same way that Mother Goose's fairy tale book is not evidence that Mother Goose exists. A claim is not evidence, especially when humans have been making the same claim for thousands of years but with a different book or a different name for their god and different rules to follow. If a baseless claim was considered evidence then I could call the police right now anc claim you are a killer and have you arrested right now.

Dude, first off you are one of the nicest christians on YouTube. But you cant say that the bible is evidence. Sorry, but it isn't. Also, considering your analogies, yes, evolution is improbable, but when you consider natural selection it makes a lot of sense. Also, if, before life was created, there was just the building blocks, so many other things could have happened. And finally, every atheist knows that evolution isn't perfect, but no argument is perfect like that

Evolution isn't improbable AT ALL. Abiogenesis maybe, but evolution is a comparatively simple process.

Sixth, our population is not that big because of many problems we have faced (ice ages, plagues, volcanism, etc). The computations are most likely based on present day mortality rates, if it helps draw a picture: before the industrial revolution, 1/3 of children lived to the 2nd year of life, and 1/2 of those lived to the 8th. Now imagine how it would be in a society that considers sharpened rocks advanced technology. I love Jesus. If the pope can accept evolution, than you can too!

Third, when you shake up all those pieces of your watch for 5 million years, you will end with an item not resembling your watch, but it will be the most successful possible result in the conditions presented to it. That is evolution. Fourth, your textbooks are either incompetent or you were not paying attention to them. Fifth, we have found most of them, but it is difficult because we were to intelligent to walk into quicksand or tar pits like other animals.

First, Evolution does not disprove God (as you have assumed) because the process of evolution depends greatly on the environment, something that is created by and changed by God. God controls the environment. The environment defines the evolutionary process, ergo God defines the evolutionary process. Second, you took the bible to be 100% true, unmodified, uncorrupted, literal fact. That is idiotic as this would require knowing things beyond your own abilities and resources.

to point out a floor in the watch "truth", you have not covered the infinite possibilities. let me put it to you this way; if there was and infinite amount of monkeys and an infinite amount of typewriters they would type the full works of Shakespeare (yes, it may hurt your brain) and because there is a near infinite amount of stars and planets. given an infinite amount of time it is extremely possible that we could have evolved, so really you didn't prove anything

As for your erroneous claim that we lack any human intermediates regarding our common ancestry with the great apes, it's just plain wrong. Australopithecus, Homo Erectus, Homo Habilis, along with a NUMEROUS list of others. To deny the existence of those, and other fossils in reference to other species, is ridiculously and unconscionably ignorant.

As for the origins of life, Evolution makes NO claim on the origin of life (Abiogeneis or otherwise). It explains change, and its mechanism, in populations over long periods of geological time.
Whether there is or isn't a creator is completely irrelevant to the validity or factual status of any theory. Whether it be the Theory of Relativity, or in this case, Evolution

If there is a creator of the Universe, then it created ... the Universe. That means the universe that we see around us with all its laws and their consequences. Therefore if your god is the creator, it created the chemistry that led to life. Your preacher has lied to you. If your god is the creator of the Universe, then denying the truth of its creation, to say that it could not possibly have created the Universe we see it is surely blasphemous.

Your example about the watch is not analogous to evolution. Evolution is incremental - baby steps, doesn't happen an once like your watch example. Recommend you read "The Greatest Show on Earth" by Dawkins or any layman's primer on evolution. All due respect but there's a lot of ignorance being spread by the religious creationists.

The standards of evidence is more rigerous in science than in religion. For example a book is never considered scientific evidence, it may be a record of the evidence but it's backed up by tangible evidence. We don't believe water is H2O because it says so in a book. On the other hand religious people consider the bible evidence to be evidence even when there is no tangible evidence backing it up. Sometimes religion denys tangible evidence in favor of a superstition.
