Nice try, nuclear power industry. Now let's cut to the Fukushima video tape. In the latest news from Japan, radioactivity was discovered in baby milk powder formula. Google it, if you doubt me.
Cracks me up, at the end of this video proponents of the nuclear power industry says Wind Power is no good and it is better to go nuclear....forgetting about Fukushima. I am sure they can redesign these to automatically disengage if hurricane winds hit again. Would rather to put out a wind-mill fire than a a nuclear meltdown in my backyard. Next they will say because a bird hit one that we have to go nuclear.
If that was a nuclear power plant and it got hit by a natural disaster like the one in japan we would have to deal with a radioactive spill not a small fire in a field... -.-

@TheIronicIdiot, hey retard i know you fail at basic physics but there is ALWAYS wind, even on mars there is wind! plus the earth his always hot to, ever heard of thermal energy?? Green energy doesnt rely on one power it relies on all naturals powers! its more stable than coal&nuclear cause nature is always energetic but even nuclear fuel will run out in 100-500 years! But i know you fail at life, so you are pardoned.
green energy: accident happens, someone might get a blade dropped on their head.
nuclear&coal plants: accident happens, tons of radiactive substance released, land unhabitable, mercury/radiation poisining, mutations and cancer and birthdefects for thousands of years to come.
@WorldOfSadTruth Thousands of years? That's a bit unrealistic, we haven't had nuclear power for more than a century, where do you come to that sort of conclusion? I agree nuclear is an issue but in certain parts of the world there are massive areas of land that nobody lives anywhere near, these are ideal for nuclear power. With their history of destructive and savage weather and being that they dont have land that's far from the ocean, Japan was anything but ideal
I guess wind turbines are in the same league as umberellas, if its to windy to use an umbrella stay indoors, if it's too windy for a wind turbine - take the control rods out a bit on your nearest reliable reactor....
@TheIronicIdiot I guess that begs the question why don't we use the most powerful and abundant source of heat available. THE SUN?
the technology is too inefficient? why is that? because those with the power and resources of the world have a vested interest in keeping us hooked on fossil fuels, hence assuring their continued power? If its not cost efficient to use alternative energy we (humans) need to ask ourselves whats more important, clean sustainable energy or "profit"
@TheIronicIdiot lol I thought your name was "ironclad idiot". I was like, how fitting..
I dont own a cell phone, I smoke weed every day and you can bet your ass Im high right now. I honestly do not understand why you would take the position of defending the fossil fuel/nuclear energy status quo? PLease explain to me why you would possibly advocate something thats bad for the environment, and global society as a whole
please I am really interested.. are you a saudi prince?
@TheIronicIdiot you dolt. I dont know if you are aware but RADIATION IS POISON, and it creates a dead zone WHERE NOTHING CAN LIVE whenever it is leaked.
We haven't EVEN BEGUN to feel the effects of the latest disaster in Japan. 0 deaths? Keep on eye on the cancer rate for those in the fallout zone. If you were smart youd invest in chemo drugs.
so this station supports nuclear ,and giving political support to the most expensive way to generate electricity and its deadly fuel refuse, a contamination of the earth for at least 25,000 years, count the number of people who have suffered or died from the effects of wind farms and then the number of people who have suffered or died from nuclear energy
WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE
Visit TheServiceWeb's Channel
ZERO-NOISE from gears and generators since they are sealed underground.
SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS since slow-moving.
DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY A WIDER LANDSCAPE since the turbine can be very tall.
MAY BE LOWER-COST since it may use timber and other cheaper things.
ELUDES HURRICANE FORCE since the V-type folding blades automatically close.
NO FIRE since it is kept cool.
HELPS THE WIND-ENERGY COMPANIES since it is FREE FOR ALL.

ZERO-NOISE from the gears and the generator because they are silenced underground (Only the outer parts of the turbine may create sound.).
This SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS (since slow-moving) and helps the wind energy companies (since it is FREE FOR ALL.).

Wind farms are like trying to boil a kettle with a match. The sentiment behind them is sound, but there's no way they can provide enough electricity

@WorldOfSadTruth Hope that blade drops on the head of the proponents of nuclear energy then maybe some sense will be knocked into their heads.

yea nuclear reactors are really good, and if they melt down they fuck up aa good portion of the world making it uninhabitable
