This is just great Wishuey my friend Glyn introduced you to me, he plays the banjo. You are definitely as good as he says you are. I love the chimes at the end, it's a perfect finish.
My Daddy passed away in1995.This was his favorite tune to play on the (banjer). He wasn't the best at playing but I would give a million to hear him one more time.
Just in time. That would have been a perfect ending if you had been playing the song "Grandfather's Clock". I'm writing a song about a gun called "Grandfather's Glock."
Beautiful. I wish you were in my living room to teach me how to play this -- I cannot seem to get the roll. Yours is the prettiest version I've heard yet. Thank you.
Very nice. I enjoyed that. Reminds me of when I was a child. My Dad would play guitar, mom accordion and we 3 girls would sing on the back porch of our farm looking over the valley. Nice memory.
Don Reno`s version was the first I heard many years ago. The "double time" stuff he did is wonderful. Have you checked out "Renopicker" on YouTube? He`s indistinguishable from Don.
Thanks. Good question. As far as I`ve been able to determine from the serial number it started out as a 1931 style 3 Gibson Mastertone archtop plectrum. Over the years it`s been changed to a flat-top five string. I`ve owned it since the early 70s and it had the five string neck for a good while prior to that.
Thanks. I`m dusting off the old gut-string and building up my nerve to try and sing "When You and I Were Young Maggie"; could be awhile as I haven`t found the right key yet....
I think this is brilliant! Loved hearing you play it!!

Many thanks. Don`t spend too much time on my all wrong backwards roll. It will confuse your fellow musicians....

Very nice. These are some great tunes you have been posting. Most of them I had forgot about. I'm going to have to dust off my strings and get busy!

Beautiful piece. I enjoyed the laid-back style of the player. A couple of minor glitches, but they don't detract from the mood of the song.
