Cyber Athlete makes plenty of sense to me. Think about it.. chest requires all mind and pretty much no action which is why it would never be called a sport. But when your playing video games specially games such as Cod4 it requires more than just mind... it requires hand eye and constant moving... so I suppose your athletic ingame rather. Hence the term "Cyber" Athlete. Sport = the occupation of athletes who compete for pay. Cyber athlete/ Cyber Sport/ or esport=Electronic sport. Well duh......

Shit, cheerleading is more of a sport than gaming (and cheerleading is not really a sport either) in that it requires a good amount of strenuous, physical activity. Video gaming is simply a hobby; a very fun one at that.

@zxp1234 balance!!!...if this is what you want in life...Go For It!!!...but that doesn't mean sit down all day and play online....practice and get out there man, go to local tournaments...my friend and his dad have a TF team and won 2k dollars from some tournament in Chicago, IL...they both work and go to school, they just have devotion, passion, and the drive to do it...me on the other hand, I play just for fun...but best advice...is you need to Practice, but need to balance that!!!

well i am good at math and i noticed that many gamers that are good at math are good gamer. I might not play professionaly but i am pretty good, especially halo and mw. But games like quake i can handle too. RTS i am not so good at just because i never play them online only Lan. But math is pretty handy, quick thinking is very handy and off course tactics (most important). Aiming comes natural everybody can learn that.

Maybe with RTS it matters. Not that much in FPS (but even there you might need to get creative with using the terrain; I could argue it's distantly related to math.)
