@8916420 lol dude i would say silent almost. have you ever shot a small air rifle or a paintball gun prolly a couple times louder then those which isn't very loud. never shot a 9mm but I have shot a real .45 which was loud as fuck. you could shoot it in your basement i would expect without waking the neighbours
@leathery22 They're louder than they sound on video. I know because I have a 50 cal air rifle. It's true though that an big bore airgun will be quieter than a firearm of similar power.
People keep defending their betrayers. Many willingly celebrate these wildly wicked weird witchcraft holidays from the weathered old Roman religion of rapists. Are these holidays the beautiful side of evil?...Well, evil, is still evil no matter how it is served to you. The Lord God shall a put curse on all who celebrate these holidays of Hell. You and your children' s children shall suffer plague and death. The Holy Bible explains this fact.
@lexmark136 Air is free, lead is abundant, the seals are cheap and easy to maintain, falls into a different more benign classification than a firearm making shooting opportunities more numerous, provides good exercise if a handpump is used to charge it, doesn't require cleaning after shooting.... it's also no heavier than a comparable firearm.
@JaleelJohanson62 ok fair enough, good answers. These big bore airguns are considered firearms in my country so they dont offer much of an advantage over a .22lr ..
@timscott61495 Let me re-word the two you're having difficulty with.. According to your profile, you're in the U.S. Is this correct? I get mine via the U.S. postal service. Is this illegal? Better? ;-p
@JaleelJohanson62 In the US a firearm is a weapon in which the projectile is fired through the process of combustion, so these do not fall under that category and are only subject to state laws; off the top of my head New York and California are two states that do not allow airguns to be shipped directly to your house, but in most states it is perfectly legal (the others are specific cities and counties in certain states - check sportmansguide or similar sporting websites for more info)
@wankelcrazy Where did I claim that an airgun is a firearm? Here's what I said below: "Air is free, lead is abundant, the seals are cheap and easy to maintain, falls into a different more benign classification than a firearm making shooting opportunities more numerous, provides good exercise if a handpump is used to charge it, doesn't require cleaning after shooting.... it's also no heavier than a comparable firearm."
I own several large caliber ones. I also know the laws.
I actually have a bycycle style pump that goes to 3500 psi. On a .45 or .50 that only gets you maybe 2 or 3 shots. I average about 35 shots with my .25. (Sumatra .25) near 80 fpe. at full power. Modern air rifles are crazy. Guy recently killed a bear with a .45 air rifle. Went through both shoulders.
i would have to say that impossible 3500Kpa(507psi) yeah but 3500 psi? a piston with a diameter of 1/2" (0.2 square inches) thats going to be 700 pounds of force needed to get to 3500 psi.
a 1/4" piston might get you there (0.05 square inches) at 175 pounds of force needed but it would take all day to get there.. a two stage pump might get you closer but you also need materials that will handle that kinda pressure
I believe the piston diameter is much smaller than 1/2". Google Benjamin Air Pump. It does take some force to pump it but nowhere near 700 lbs. When the gauge gets near 3K psi, you're probably talking 100 lbs of force for each pump. I've never dismantled it.
from what i have read these are a 3 stage pump they may look like a normal bike pump but they have 3 pistons inside each piston supplying the next when you said a bike pump i though you ment a normal single piston pump. these pumps work by increseing the pressure behind the next piston. kinda like useing a bike pump to get to 3000psi when the normal air pressure is 2000psi
another observation is their cronny will be reading wrong as the muzzle blast interferes with them that close.. they should be 5' from it to be accurate
LOL no.....its a rifle powered by air, please explain how it isnt an air rifle LOL.........I hate when people say things like that.....what because its powerful its not an air rifle anymore? its an air rifle if its powered by air!!! lol..............you could be shooting bowling balls out of a rifled barrel with a wood stock using compressed air....and its still an air rifle LOL
how loud are one of those .45's in comparison to a real 9mm

How are these air rifles powered ?
xzqzq 3 years ago
Air.
supressorgrid 3 years ago 2
Via a pump ? I saw a lever on the right side of one rifle, briefly. Where could I obtain such a rifle ?
xzqzq 3 years ago
A pump, yes. If you get tired of the pump, you can get a tank of compressed air from a scuba shop. Need the proper fittings and adaptors.
reno93535 2 years ago
at these kinda powers id say they have an on board CO2 tank
HomeDistiller 2 years ago
Not these. Just compressed air. Near 3000 psi. I have one.
reno93535 2 years ago
yeah if the pressures that high then not CO2, but also definitely not a pump lol
