This doesn't matter, loud sounds damages the hearing of deaf and hearing people. In fact, deaf people are more likely to lose hearing than normally-hearing people.

So next time you see street performers playing cans, buckets, tap dancing, whatever, just realize that they could possibly be some of the worlds best...this clip is a perfect example...bless you evelyn, you are TRULY an inspiration.....wow!

Yes, she is really deaf. And yet her whole life is about sound. She became deaf at the age of 12. Try wikipedia ;)
