@LauxHawk Really? I have a Motherboard DG43GT supports PCI Express 2.0 x16, But I can't detect ASRock SATA3 when plug in ASRock SATA3 Card into this PCI Express slot.
@dinhtandl Did you install the appropriate drivers? There are probably drivers on the CD that came with it and also online on the ASRock website. There has been difficulties with this card however. If it doesn't work, look at a card from Rosewill or Highpoint. The ASRock should work. Maybe the drivers aren't stable yet? Hope this helps.
@dinhtandl Oh and also, the first 2 revisions of this card were faulty. You might want to return it and get the same card, but hope that it is a newer rendition.
I'd reccomend you just get a ASUS U3S6. There is no eSATAIII but you do get USB3.0 and SATAIII internal. If you need the eSATA, you can turn the two internal ports into two eSATAIII ports via an adapter. There is one on Newegg that can do 6.0gb/s but I can't find the name. Sorry.
can anyone tell me what this is for? i mean what the sata exapnsion card does?

the box for the card says it only works with asrock motherboards.

@histatimaniples No, compatible with any motherboard as fare as I am concerned. Check first though on ASRock site.

@LauxHawk thanks a lots, really
The BIOS can't detect ASRock SATA3 card --> if I install the appropriate driver, then don't solve this problem.
If I plug in ASRock SATA3 card into PCI Express 1.0 x16 slot of another motherboard, then I can detect ASRock SATA3 card.
And DG43GT motherboard support PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot, I can't detect ASRock SATA 3 card.
I don't care driver for this car, because I only need to detect this card in BIOS.
--> What do you think about this problem?
please support me

@dinhtandl Hmm....Does it have its own BIOS? Something might flash really quick before/after the system BIOS loads. Maybe...
To be honest, I have no idea at this point. Usually doing the things I sais solve the problem.

@LauxHawk
Oh no: DG43GT motherboard support 1 PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot and 2 PCI Express 1.0 x1 slot.
If I plug in ASRock SATA3 card into PCI Express 1.0 x1 slot of this motherboard, then I can detect ASRock SATA3 card.
But I plug in ASRock SATA3 card into PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot, I can't detect.
I thinks that isn't compatible between ASRock SATA3 card and Mainboard, although the both support PCI Express 2.0.
I don't know the resion of this problem.
