Forget the monkey. That has to be one of the kindest and sweetest little girls ever. Just listen to the gentle tone of her voice and how concerned she is about the animal.
Most of the baby monkeys come from a rejection of the mother or troop. It's almost imposable to get a baby from it's mother in the wild. If the troop leaves them behind, it's real easy to catch them. If food or water is scarce, they just take off and the babies can't keep up. A baby monkey has under a 40% chance of survival in the wild.
In Vietnam we used these vermin as targets. The best ones were hitting them either whaile they were mating or hit the babys just in front of the mama. The mama would look all over for the damm thing, because it would just explode. Getting the babys and forcing draino up their ass was fun too. It took them almost 5 hours to die. Cutting the arms and legs off were another option too.
I seldom get to kill monkeys anymore, I really miss it.
In Philippines my neighbor had a pet monkey and me my brother and cousin were looking at it then all of a sudden the monkey grabbed my hair! my cousin tried pulling me from him but it wouldn't let go then it bit my my freaking thumb! -.-'' i was like 4 years old back then lol.
Poor little guy misses momma. The young ladys touch is magic to him. Monkies, like humans, need tender loving warm touches. Very nice young lady, you are just what he needed.
Babies don't belong in cages, they belong in the arms of it's mother.
@Audi2000t It would be good to remember that we share more than 94% of our genetic make up with a starfish too. All the DNA on this planet is pretty close, but even 1% is a mile off when you’re talking about DNA.

Not my monkey it is an orphan, you just gave donations to build it a big new enclosure for when it doesn't need bottle feeding anymore.
