It could be the sound of the Prototype (5.5 Liter V10 with 558 HP). The Prototype sounded different than the final Version (5,7 Liter V10 with 612 HP)

actually porsche has little to do with VW even though it is the parent company, VW agreed to stay out of porsche, unlike Gallardo, my lambo radio is the exact same as my RS4 radio. my porsche is nothing like it. no bulshit electrical problems or parts carried over. thats why a porsche is more fun to drive than a lambo. cuz it isnt a vdub all churched up... please no hate mail now, its the truth lol

mine is the gallardo, thats all i can speak of. never driven a murci, have had numerous Porsches tho, and as much love as i have for the lambo, it isnt as responsive in any way, example: "throttle to floor..(pause)..TONS OF POWER!!! in lambo, with porsche its : throttle flooredSNAPURNECKACCCCEEELLERA­TION, with porsche the brake pedal is always at the top, never sinks far, and the steering is that of car on rails. lambo is like hmm ok right lets turn then. drive both, c for urself,GT3 or Gallardo
