The pianist is Brad Ellis. He started out as the accompanist during the Glee auditions, playing for all of the actors that tried out. At one point Ryan Murphy told him "When you're in the show" and he thought it was a joke. Turns out Murphy wanted him to be the pianist in the series.

erm...what about Lost and Heroes? 2 prominent television shows that are world renouned. Lost has 3 asian leads, none of which are associated with Kung Fu or anything stereotypically asian. and the last time i checked, Heroes has 2 asian leads. If anything, i would have thought it was an Asian revolution breaking out in hollywood?? It's people like you and the other people complaining that make it seem as though Asian's and other races are being unfarily treated.

also, Mao's Last Dancer, that's a huge hit, has nothing to do with Kung Fu/fighting. There's an asian lead with a prominent storyline in Fame that's recently been released. And what about previous films? Memoirs of a Geisha? Kill Bill? That was Asian-based.

And yes, Jackie Chan is in a lot of asian-based films but hello? He's the asian equivalant of Tom Cruise, a mega movie star. Maybe it's just because he's the most talented and respected asian actor?

Besides, doesn't Asia have a film/television industry of its own? So many western people live in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and Japan, its the equivalant of the Asian populations in the US and Australia. You don't see the western people complaining that they don't see any white people in Asian films if they're in Asia?

Yes most are actual singers. Lea Mitchell (Rachel) was the leader in a tony winning broadway musical...mercades went on american idol and has been singing for years...not sure about the others as far as professional work goes but there are some other videos of thiese interviews that show them actually singing.
