@ABKIllKaos I believe term would be special? However; Crisis Core: Only reference of moogle was as a summon I believe. FF7 itself, we have Cait Sith's stuffed body is based upon a moogle, so yeah it could be a tribute there, as well as games and summon. in fact the one you didn't mention: Dirge of Cerberus is one i haven't played yet, looking into it, Vincent saves a girl with a mog doll. So I stand corrected it could be a tribute there. I don't get your last paragraph though
@PeterJKing Why are you both so unbelievably retarded? Moogles were around back in the NES days in Japan, and SNES days in the US. Moogles are a long standing race in FF games, just like Chocobos, you idiots. It's not a tribute or homage to anything, it's just a part of the FF series, in the same way characters named Biggs, Wedge and Cid appear in a bunch of the games despite being totally different characters that aren't related in any way from game to game.
This looks really great, but it would be nice if it didn't have the closed captioning at the bottom, it distracts from the way the pictures sync up with the lyrics of the song.
I miss them very much, too! "Men at work" was a brillant band and their songs are still played today on radio all over the word. "Overkill" is my favourite song, I really love that tune!
Really miss Men at Work, and their lead singer Colin Hay. The men from the land of Thunder, the Land Down Under. Love this version by Colin, he deserves a Vegemite sandwich.
This cover is slightly faster in places to the official cover for scrubs, the one that's on itunes. I also gos up on some different notes, etc. But it is still great
colin hays is with the band men at work because colin hays wrote most of there songs and that song oerkill was written by colin hays and then later on he gave it to men at work and thats when they praformed it
i saw colin hay in springfield il what a show what a performer got to shake his hand his lyrics and music will show that there are still classic tunes worth listening to
good but i like the one with just Colin better.....the scrubs version is my favorite. This is ok but its still a good song. It sounds fuller on this one.
Well, I may be a little dense, but it sure sounds a lot different to my ears. For instance: On the Scrubs version, Colin's guitar playing is very staccato from the beginning and through the verses. It sounds like he's only playing fifths and the occasional third. This version is all guitar strums.
Please don't get me wrong... both versions are wonderful, but I think they are very different recording.
I think everyone's just expecting the Scrubs version, (which I'm used to and I love.) there's another live acoustic video with Hay and that has this same version playing. People like the familiar, you know.
All that said, the clips you chose are sweet but I'm biased to the Scrubs version since I heard it first and I wish this played to it.
I found this version in a folder of scrubs songs that I downloaded. He has a version that is very close to this in his solo 2003 "Man at Work" album. It has some good covers of Down Under, Beautiful World, Who can it be now, this song and some OK new songs. His going Somewhere album has much better post Men at Work songs.
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do, tommorrow will be the best day of your life
This version was just Colin Hay was it not? His own version after he left Overkill. And in the episode before the one that featured this song, a song of his named Beautiful World was in it. One of the episodes is called My Last Day, thats all i can remember :]
Okay, so although I know very little about Final Fantasy and everything that goes with it, it was a neat video to watch and a great song. I hadn't heard of Colin Hay before his guest appearance on Scrubs. Kudos. ;]

i think leaving the subtitles in kinda added to it all in some points, kinda reasserts the songs meaning that much more.

Hmm... the one girl... she has a moogle...
she reminds me of lulu... is it lulu...?
KAKASHIROCKS226 2 years ago
its not, all final fantasys are unrelated except like 10-2. though it could be a homage to that, theres probably a lot of other references in it

oh. kay. that's what i had thought, but i wasn't COMPLETELY sure... thankyou...!!
awesome vid, by the way...!!

@PeterJKing Your retarded Final fantasy 7 has so many other things that connect together with it
Advent Children , Final fantasy 7 , Final fantasy Crisis core , Final fantasy before crisis there is a ton that 7 branches out and around to
So the possibility is there that could lulu cause this is years before 10 but most likely No

Don't blame yourself for the flow issues, the song itself has a very stumbly feel and would be very hard to sync with a video.
