Combat was fine for this game, lol. The game itself wasn't meant for you to actually fight so much as to run away and only fight when you had to because that's what a "Survival Horror" basically is.

Boss fights = pure easy, but I guess not everyone is good at certain games. I personally found this really easy to play and bosses took no time and don't even hit you unless you suck at moving. You're either good or suck at this game. However, all in all, really good plot and storyline.

Combat wasn't meant to be spectacular since you're playing a nervous wreck of a character (lol, poor Jennifer...) whose in herself kind of lame and weak so you're getting more of a real deal with her.

So agreed the combat isn't amazing, but it's based more upon a real experience for the player to get into Jennifer's motions. All in all, an amazing game; good graphics, gameplay and storyline. ^^

It's really not all that scary...I mean, it's interesting and it's got it's creepy atmosphere, and sometimes I look at it and say "Wow, that's really fucked up..." but the only things that I have actually been freaked out by in it is that doors randomly slam shut when you try to open them, and guys randomly standing in doorways. So, yes it's a good game, it just lacks a bit of the scary that Silent Hill could bring.

The main highlight of this game is the deep story which will either frustrate you to no end OR completely capture you so you are unable to rest until you've figured it out...which I still haven't completely managed!

The music is also rich and creates the mood of despair and the horror of the bosses and 'imps'.

Don't be put off by the poor combat system and often repitive gameplay, look for clues and explore as much as you can!
