I've heard "better" singers but only very, very few have the ability to be as consistently excellent as Roland - amazing. Curt is very good but not in the same league as Roland - together they are wonderful.
Amazing live version of this song!! Tears For Fears rocks!!! Roland hits every note just right. It's too bad I never saw them in concert. They seem to put on a great show if this is any indication! A thumbs up and faved! Peace2U, Alex
I saw them in Fort Lauderdale, FL last week. They sounded like they were in the studio. It's great to see Roland and Curt performing again. I didn't really know how great they were until I saw em live. Quite an awesome live band.
In the future, some children of our children will listen this song and they realized that their grandparents were so lucky to listen this real artist. All the best for Roland.
I'm obsessed with tears for fears and is completely in love with Roland's powerful voice and musical creativity. But his work after sowing the seeds of love don't get me at all. It sounds too... pop rock or I don't know how you would call that particular genre. It reminds me too much of bands I don't really like such as nickelback. Although I don't listen to his new stuff, I still respect him very much for daring to change and not always sticking to the same formula. Does anyone feel the same?
T4F puts me in an f'n time machine and transports me back to much much better times. Eighties and early 90's for me was the best. I had everything then I mean everything and today in reflection it's almost all gone, just some faded memories that seem like a million miles away. Thanks for taking me back once again ......
@gimee50k- It is not at all embarrassing. You should be proud of yourself. Liking a particular music hasn't got much to do with age. The music made with heart and soul will reach out to anyone. That's how I see it.
I know what you're thinking, "a zoo?" Our zoo has a gorgeous ampetheater in the center. I wish more great artists realized this and would come to Portland, OR.
I actually can't believe how incredible and consistent a vocalist Roland is. He probably kills it in studio if he can pull of vocals this good in a live setting. Amazing song writer. Curt too, of course. I'm glad to see them writing/playing music together again. Hopefully they come to Canada!
Roland imho is the best live singer around. He is just as good-even better than in the 80's. He hits every note, not like Bonjovi who harmonizes almost everything anymore.
@atmoi666 i've seen them the last 2 summers ... had set my expectations low as some of the youtubes didn't sound so great live ... but they killed it! fantastic!
If your life is mixed up, if there are problems...it means to take those troubles apart bit by bit. Look at the pieces in front of you and you will maybe see that the problem isn't so big after all. So: "Break it down" = think about what is really important in life instead of worrying about things you have no control over.

is that Curt on the bass? if it is then this is truly amusing since this song was written without his involvement. after 1989 there was a 15 year split between him and Roland.
I would be suprised if theres one bad thing to say. This group was one of the best in the 80's..Theres a few i love and tears for fears is one.Awesome is all i can say.Good to see there still singing.
I envy all of u guys. I even have born yet when they took this video. Found their old tapes from my bro's drawer couple of years ago and I love their music just like that. Wished they do a show for 1 last time for me to watch :(
Cool, I was there too! I didn't realize it was taped. I was back by the lights guy and there really wasn't a bad spot. This was an awesome concert. I did see the reunion of Roland and Curt at the State Theatre in Mpls., but this one will always hold a special place in my heart. TFF fan forever!!!
Wow! I was in the front row at this show. I've been looking for video of it since that night in 1996. Thanks! Looking at it now, it's as great as I remember it. What a performance.
the same as their recording. this guy is the shit when it comes to a guy that really has a voice. you wont find that in the late 90s or the 2000's. if these guys go on tour i'm all over it. dearly worth the second concert i would have ever paid for
Great performance and an equally great audience! I have never seen a crowd reaction like that at the TFF concerts that I have seen so far on video or TV!
awesome. :)

Roland's voice is outstanding. I think his microphonist could make a bass adjustment. A little more could be suitable for this song.
WOW this is a so nice live version.
