  • I cry inside when I hear this! There is no other song like this that touch me this much (Tears in heaven, Little Green) Robert is just.... such a singer and composer! It is so true, this simple melody says everything. So does his lyrics and voice. Can't stop listening to it

  • You can the love robert had for the song and for karac when u hear it

  • You can feel

  • Mans' game.

  • This is such a pretty song ♥ it!

  • This song breaks my heart. The chorus is the echoes of a grieving father, who lost his 5 year old son.

  • i hope everyone knows this AINT about a girl...its about his roberts DEAD SON!!!!!!!

  • @TANNERGRN I knew that....back in the mid 90's back when VH1 was a relevant music station and aired the "VH1 Legends" mini series and profiled Zeppelin and mentioned about Plant losing his child.

  • i love you

  • 6 people likes Justin Bieber

  • 6 people obviously dont know what this song is about.

  • This is band is still alive for me, not only memory but in the fact I keep getting new experiences from all this rare shit that gets posted on the net.

Great sound too. I if they have enough sound and film for another reconstructed live DVD.

Look at the end 5 characters. 'Bonham', almost.

    RIP, John.

  • 3:00

  • Who would ever dislike this?

  • Page totally cheesed this solo. Why does he suck live, ever since 1979?

  • @20carrocks Pagey was shwacked out of his mind on heroin. But keep in mind that he never duplicated his solos live. Sometimes he landed on his feet, sometimes he fell on his face. But he was never boring.

  • is was there any live video of this performance or this song.

  • LIFE IS SO STRANGE, I WAS AT THIS SHOW , I WAS AT WIESBADEN AIRBASE,AND THIS SOLDIER I HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE, WALKED UP TO ME AND SAID,

' HEY YOU WANT SOME TICKETS TO GO SEE LEDZEPPELIN", AND OF COURSE I SAID," YES" HE HANDED ME THE TICKETS, I LOOKED DOWN TO GET MY WALLET, AND ASKED, HOW MUCH?, AND WHEN I LOOKED BACK HE WAS GONE!!! • Last concert before i left to go back state side from Rhein Main ab Frankfurt

  • I was at this show! The best show I ever saw! 4 1/2 hours with out a warmup band!

  • @balmighty1 dude this show was only like 2 hours all the shows in 80 were only 2 hours looks like you just caught redhanded dude

  • @DavidVIIIcool very funny. I have the ticket stub still, their songs are long, if you've ever been to a show, 2 hours would barely have ten songs!

  • Great rendition. How hard must it have been for Plant to sing this in honor of his late, beloved Feather in the Wind?

  • i know robert plant. he gave me a guitar for christmas as a little boy. he even brought maureen. this took place between 1987 and 1989. this is no joke. both of them had met my mom and myself

  • @civilhistoryfan1981 Ya ok he and his wife got a divorce in 1983

  • John bonham the best, always.

  • R.I.P John Bonham,

Anyone know where to find a live video of this?

  • I will never underunderstand why most of the 1980 and 1977 where never made into a officel LP, I remember buying a bootleg of Zeppelin Berlin 1980 and was so sad on how awful the sound recording was....I felt so pissed, because if you lissen to them play they where tight.

  • i was at this show, frankfurt festhalle, we stood center stage against the guardrail (there were two rails) they played for four and half hours! and there were only about ten or twelve thousand people there. i still have the stub and the review from the stars and stripes newspaper. certainly made up for the tampa fiasco!

  • RIP Kerac (Robert Plant's son who died in 1977) and John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham (drummer of Led Zeppelin who died 25 September 1980)

  • Without you I'm dead

    A.

  • Who plays the keyboards/Synths in this version?

  • @lucho663 AT THIS SHOW JOHN PAUL JONES PLAYED KEY BOARDS MOST ALL NIGHT THEY HAD A GUY WHOS LAST NAME WAS CARLSON PLAYING BASS BUT I CANT REMEMBER HIS FIRST NAME. AND OF COURSE JOHN PAUL DID PLAY BASS WITH HIS FEET UNDER THE KEY BOARD ON SOME SONGS. IT WAS A GOOD SHOW.

  • Song Name? kkkk (just kidding ok?)

    Awesome

  • absolute perfection!!!

  • This is beyond AWESOME, John Henry Bonham was with out a doubt a great drummer, I have heard all of there studio stuff a million times over but I thank you as this version is new to me, Thank You for sharing as I am A Led Head.

  • Long live the mighty Zep!!!!!!!!!

  • does anyone know where I can find the first picture in flag? it's great!

  • This Jimmy's solo is fantastic.

    Pure emotions

  • I have seen many concerts in both the United States and Europe. In fact the 1st concert I saw was Led Zeppelin Jan 18th, 1975 in Minneapolis MN. After seeing other concerts I again saw Led Zeppelin April 12th, 1977 at the same venue. During my military service I was stationed in West Berlin. For the 3rd time, I was able to secure tickets and had a front row seat (standing) at a Led Zeppelin concert, 7 July 1980. Little did I know it was to be Bonzo's final performance. I saw a apart of history.

  • @GanglM

Im 16, a huge fan of music, yet i've never gone to a concert, but a couple years ago I tried to get my hands on the 2007 Led Zeppelin tickets, I never got them, but it would of been awesome for someone of my age to say, "My first concert I went to was Led Zeppelin"

I doubt they will ever play again, but if they do, I will be willing to give up all my guitars for a ticket

  • @lukeazadee

When the 2007 concert at the O2 arean in London was announced, there were 20,000,000 ticket requests for only 20,000 available tickets. This caused the system to crash. You are correct they will never again play as Led Zeppelin. In fact if it were not for Jason Bonham on drums, they may have not performed as Led Zeppelin. I was 15 when I first saw LZ and 20 when I saw their final performance with John Bonham on drums. Hang in there even when your 1st concert won't be Led Zeppelin.

  • @GanglM

Yeah, I would of been very lucky to of got tickets.

Im currently looking for tickets, and I might be seeing Deep Purple with my dad soon

  • @lukeazadee

You just lose it awfully!, if i can say it.

That kind of concerts leave marks on your life forever.

Round Fool! never do that again! For that legendary band you don´t think, you act.

  • @lukeazadee i'd have loved to see them, probably the last time together. i'm glad to say my first concert i went yo Roger Waters in 2007, I was only ten

  • @lukeazadee Persistance pays keep your eyes I saw Led Zep at THE madison square theater around when you were busy learning how to walk.and lok at ya .Go Get Em. noyhing is unobtainable Persistance patience love will get you when you are ready Oppurtunity doesnt knock too loudly But when it dioes

  • @lukeazadee Persistance pays keep your eyes I saw Led Zep at THE madison square theater around when you were busy learning how to walk.and lok at ya .Go Get Em. noyhing is unobtainable Persistance patience love will get you when you are ready Oppurtunity doesnt knock too loudly But when it does

  • @lukeazadee Same here. That is my only wish. That Led Zeppelin would perform again. Would be indescribable.

  • Yeah led zep is awesome...

  • thank you

  • Who plays the bass on this song then?

  • @TOPmusicman8 nobody..... =) jones use a bass pedal

  • WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE BONZO!

  • fuck the 5 people who dislike this video, FUCK YOU ALL!

  • xD Song Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Jonesy is amazing in this song!

  • Bonzo is so amazing, his timing is like a metronome

  • John Paul Jones used the Fairlight CMI synthesizer for this tour, i think he was one of the first musicians to own one. it was the first digital sampler and was a very expensive instrument, although Jones was happy to get rid of most of his stage keyboards.he kept his Yamaha piano for since i been lovng you and the Honer clavinet for trampled underfoot.

for the studio verson of all of my love and the 1979 concerts Jones used the Yamaha GX1 synth.

  • watch?v=C_aLt-BON4M

that bon4m remembers me of John Bonham

    R.I.P. John

  • @kissman120 ...Question: and while JPJ played keyboards, who played bass?

  • @lucho663 John Paul Jones did it all. He was amazing. He had foot bass pedals so in songs such as this one, The Rain Song, No Quarter and Since I've Been Loving You he played the bass with his feet. He was an absolute genius. All my keyboard playing friends just can't believe how talented he was.

  • @lucho663 @lucho663 He have a little fender bass keyboard with only 2 octave and he play it simultaneously, infact the bass in this song sounds very mechanical

  • the end is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ciągle kocham Ciebie Małgosiu

  • just shows how good performars led zeppelin were, right up to their final year.

a truly masterpiece of a song.

  • Does anyone know what robert is talking about at the end? Does anyone have the full thing?

  • I love this song. However, it makes me very sad. June 30 1980...only a few more months until John Bonham passes away. This feels like a reqium. R.I.P John Bonham...you helped forge one of the greatest bands in history..if not the greatest. Led Zeppelin forever!

  • John Paul Jones: Greatest composer of 20th century....next in line Cliff Burton of course.

  • R&M

  • This is one of the only things that can make me shed a tear.. masterpiece

  • Where do people get this kinda live fotage?

Seriosly, this is just perfect and i want to know where i can get it!

  • They get it from bootleg sites, which are all secret lol

  • @Jensern79 umm i could pm a site that has a lot of bootlegs

  • somebody know if page used the theremin for this song????

  • never

  • Do you know what a theremin is? -.-

  • yes ... i dont know to explain that, its like a anthem radio .....

  • i do lol piece of junk is what those are. however they are kinda cool

  • @1xXLedZeppelinXx1 It's perfection >>

  • @1xXLedZeppelinXx1 is the tool that was use on whole lotta love (solo) and No Quarter

  • Maybe you are shuffling with the jonh paul jones keyboard.

  • i was wrong... john paul sounds amazing.

  • @hearthbreaker1987 U mean a b-bender?

  • page only used a theremin in whole lotta love (the eary sounds just beforethe solo) and a little bit of no quarter. a theremin is an instrument invented in the late 1920 or early 1903s. it was the first digital instrument. they work through radio waves creating sound through a loud speaker. by moving yor hand around the antanna it alters the pitch.

  • @hearthbreaker1987 I am the Theremin

  • @hearthbreaker1987 nare mate he didnt

  • 3:21

ugh that riff is sooooo sexy

  • rip karac,

    plants son

    rip bonzo,

    best drummer

  • A rare glimpse of what humans can do when in the right mindset

  • R.I.P John Bonham.

  • my fav led zeppelin song :)

  • todo mi amor:_S!!

  • sierto!!!

  • Growing up on long Island and being 15 when Bonham died I am still heartbroken because I was going to go to Zep's "In through the Outdoor tour" and it never happened. I have read that tickets were already sold for some of the US tour, imagine having a Zep ticket that could never be redeemed.

  • had a similar experience when the 77 tour was halted due to the deathof Plant's son.

  • What is the pic at 5:03?

  • Bonzo and family i guess

  • nare its not hes family he was on a show called Alright Now and yea its not hes family

  • I was just at Madison Square Garden a few weeks back. Being there made me realize that if Zeppelin ever got back together (and of course they would play the Garden), you would see grown men cry....many grown men cry. Myself included if I somehow scored tickets.

  • my fav band and song lovin led zep 24/7 there soooo bad just cant get enough of them:)

  • just one of many great jams by a great band whos legacy will live on long after you and i

  • It is an ERA Man

  • caro mia amor te dedico todo mi amor!!!!

  • robert plant voice the best thanks

  • this song makes me really sad like very sad

  • Beautiful song. It must of been hard for Robert singing that song.

  • i love it!!!

  • PRICELESS.THANX MAN

  • 1980?! I though Bono died in 79?! And the band disbanded right away.... Hmm weird.

  • Bonzo died on 25 September 1980

  • 1980 was the death year

  • Yeah, 1980. John "Bonzo" Bonham (Bono is the guy from U2, remember) died on September 25, 1980.

  • @Parkl2012 lol Bono is still alive, Bonzo died i 25 sepember 1980...

In most cases i hate syntesisers but this here is a masterpiece. And the performance is so good

  • @0live0wire0 wasn't it a keyboard that was used instead of a synthesizer?

  • I didn't know that he had a son that died..very sorry to hear and yes knowing that makes the song more understandable..Thanks

  • This song was written for Robert Plant's son, who died unexpectedly and at a very young age. Listen to it in that context, and the lyrics make sense.

  • His son was 6 yrs old

  • 5 years old, of a stomach infection

  • thats karac, plant's son, not bonzo

  • He just talks about his dead son ... zero senses now ?

  • Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Jhon Bonjan are present all talent and preformace in this song

  • and JPJ

  • Yeah, JPJ is my fav - and he's so underrated

  • The Magic Band

  • mariposa.azul23

esta canción me la regalo un amor hace mucho tiempo y me encanta.te acuerdas fran!

  • whats with that pic, ive never seen jimmy page use of those guitars, has he ?

  • omg plant sounds crazy awesome

  • very fuck...so good...classic of the classic l,,l;

  • they never, -never-, left a crowd unsatisfied, DID YOU KNOW THAT ONE NIGHT IN LIKE 73, THEY PLAYED A CONCERT AND THEY TURNED OFF THE POWER AFTER THE CONCERT, THE RIOT WAS SO BIG THEY WENT BACK TO THE CONCERT, AND PLAYED EVEN LONGER, WITHOUT POWER thats how fucking amazing they are, and will be, they are the gods of music

  • aww i loved reading that!! were you there? They are truly amazing and its sad to think there will never be anything like them again. i wish so badly i could have lived back then!!! i don't think anyone understands how much i love it!!!!!

  • thats the illuminati pyramid with the all seein eye

  • love tht pic looks awesome

  • That pic IS fuckin awesome.

  • Plant wrote this song after his sons death. he went into seclusion for a while and when he emerged he wrote this to his kid.

  • classic song from one of the greatest bands.

  • wtf?

  • Yeah I didn't get it either... I don't know what he is talking about at all.

  • fukn legendary song
