  • What good is a firearm anywhere......if it isnt loaded.....by whose authority (for what reason)does this guy say you can't have your gun loaded...I don't believe there is "any" reason or law that says you can't have it loaded....hunters go hunting with a loaded gun ....!?!?! These people would rather you were mauled and / or killed by a bear than have a loaded gun for protection....so typical, they think everybody but them is brainless and crazy. Bet I can shoot better than him & just as safe.

  • @jhhwingnut It is (was) state law that dictated you could not open carry a loaded gun. Unloaded open carry was legal up until the first of this year. Now all forms of carry are illegal almost everywhere (except when exempted by a CCW permit) because Jerry Brown passed the law banning unloaded open carry.

  • @li7in6 So your saying hunters cant use firearms......unless they have a CCW permit...?? Bet there are allot of bow hunters in Calif.....or is that illegal also....what a shame....

  • @jhhwingnut No, In CA a hunting license is considered a license to carry a firearm when in transit to/from a hunt and while participating in a hunt. This is one of the few exceptions to the no-carry law.

  • @li7in6 Dang...I always looked at California as a progressive state....usually way ahead of the rest of the country.....I'd say they regressed considerably....bet Sharon Tate and Nichole Simpson wished they would have been armed, as well as the women attacked by that cougar while biking......and a bunch of others in those California restaurant / hostage massacres !!

  • @jhhwingnut Gun laws are one of the many areas civil liberties have taken a major turn for the worst in CA. This latest law banning unloaded open carry in almost all cases was a major blow to 2nd amendment rights in the state. However many see it as a blessing in disguise as future court rulings will likely force CA into becoming a 'shall issue' state for CCW's in order to conform with the rights to bear arms outlined in the 2nd amendment. We just have to wait for a case to push the issue.

  • @li7in6 This doesn't surprise me in the least after seeing the brutal attitudes and "willingness" of law enforcement's all over the country to treat protestor/activist groups like "Occupy" like prisoners of war.....look how they were treated in 1967-'72 (Kent state)...they took many guns from rightful owners just recently during Katrina in New Orleans (for no reason).....as we get closer to martial law, they will disarm the general public, you can bet they're planning for it already !!

  • Anti-gun government isn't afraid of us hurting ourselves or even committing crazy acts of gun violence, so much as they are fearful of armed dissent against a deteriorating corrupt government....the fact that every American should be guaranteed the right to protect themselves from..."whatever"....is of no concern to those who wish to disarm the law abiding people...!!

  • this is a perfect video explaining the gun laws in national parks. So the rule of thumb is when you go to a state park you should follow the state laws of carry a gun in the park. You can only discharge a firearm in a park to save life or limb. This park ranger was awesome and helpful
