My dad actually talked to these guys. They were doing absolutely nothing wrong. They put a ten down for the beer, they cleaned up the bathroom, and were nice to any security or employees that showed up. They were essentially doing nothing wrong.

We used to go hang out at DFW airport in the evenings back before you had to have a ticket to get past security and do things like this. Glad to see the tradition continues...

I work at DFW AIRPORT people get stuck all the time these guys actually did something with their wasted time there! This is what you can do too if you come on down to the Big D and have American Airlines screw you over like they did these guys! A few points video was shot in Terminal A, parts of the SkyLink,

Airport security might be a pain in the ass, but I certainly appreciate knowing something’s being done to minimize some whacko from hijacking or bombing a plane.

First of all I think this is a hoax. Also, I saw an employee there cleaning the floor. So they were not entirely alone. The beginning when they are sitting and look at each other. That looked contrived and all planned out and the filming quality (very good)makes me think it is a hoax (and not just a couple guys stuck in an empty airport). Nice viral video though.

What kind of camera were these guys using? It looks like a major Hollywood movie camera, like a massive Panavision. Sure would like to know because I've never seen better video quality on youtube.

@berniegold The EOS logo sticking out of their bags suggests they're shooting on canon DSLRs. Probably the Canon 5D Mk II or the Canon 7D, costing around $2,500 & $1,800 respectively. Both cameras are pretty small and could easily mount in the places they had them. The news story on yahoo says they are sports photographers, which supports the idea that they're using DSLRs.
