@MongoTheMonkFish From what I remember, that's for positioning the characters' eyes. They stick pins into the holes, and twist the eyes to the proper direction.

Yeah if you look at one of the other videos by aardman then you can actually see them animating the eyes and some people not aardman just at home people they use beads that you would put on a neckless so that they have a string hole and then they just paint it and put a little black mark with a marker so that you don't see it and there is a hole to move it soon I will upgrade to that also please check out my videos even though they aren't as good as aardmans any way the world is just awsome!
