@djulioegleziaz No... I used Blender 3D 2.49b Particle System. First I made a cube, and "stretched" it. Then i made it rotate several times with the IPO Curve Editor. Then I added a Particle system, and a material. Unfortunately i forgot the particl and materials settings. But try to experiment with the setting, just like I did, and you are gonne make it your own.
This is not a vortex, vortex has circular forces, you are simply just rotating an emitter, and your particles go in a straight line
