Any combo vid can make a character look amazing but seriously, the Snake at 1:00 needs to learn to airdodge, an it's pretty obvious the person you're playing is garbage or severally doesn't know the MUwhen it's a 80-20 MU and they're behind significantly by a stock and damage.

Brawl is all about reading your opponent and punishing mistakes. I read what he was doing (going for the platform, going for the ledge, going for the platform again, and then trying to set up a c4.) and punished accordingly. This doesn't mean he is a bad player, which he isn't. A lot of these clips are really old, and looking back, yes, you can easily point out bad mistakes, but don't assume something so generalized by a 6 second clip. >.>

Not saying he was but there is no valid reason for Zelda to be a stock and percentage ahead of a Good MK who knows the match up.

It just says something about his opponents, but most combos in combo/highlight videos are against crappy opponents.

Valid point, but that's an advantage of playing a low tier character. Many people you play in tournament don't know the matchup. Combo videos in Brawl are just clips of flash when your opponents make poor decisions. ^_^

Like I said though, these clips are fairly old. For instance, the incorporation of warp canceling is not nearly as practical as it used to be (now that it is a fairly well known AT). Where as it used to handy as a way to completely surprise your opponent.

Im assuming you mean short hopping. Its really simple, just lightly tap the jump button instead of pressing it all the way.

It's called Teleport cancel there's a spot on the stage where you can do it.

In order to pull it off, you basically space it so the end of the warp lands directly on the edge of the stage. You can space it by using objects in the backround or on the stage. Figuring it out is fairly simple, the hard part is incorporation. =P

You were somewhat right though, a lot of these clips were taken with one of my friends and he still has a lot to learn, and some of them were when they were going to try and punish me for doing it, however the ledge cancel has pretty much 0 lag, so its not as punishable as most think. Of course with Brawl, being that there is little to no true comboes, most of the time when you do something cool its because your opponent made an obvious mistake. I appreciate the constructive criticism though. =)

But yea, a lot of players who try to ledge camp me, get a nasty surprise, especially if they dont know I can do it, or see it comming. If a player knows me well, it doesnt work as often, so its not super practical. Its just a neat little trick I know that makes me look cool. :P

Power Ranking is a the term used when listing the best players in a state/nation. It usually consists of the top 10-20 players of a region. Ranking is based off of the tournament results of each player. Certain things like money matches and crew battles can also influence what ranks a player and where they belong on the list.
