@GalaxyConvoy787 I think it is the sound of the camera hitting the window or something along those lines. In 0:52, the sound coincides with a shake in the video.
@ejdf870 It's because it is usually stuffed. My EgyptAir A342 was overweight by a lot, some airlines dont enforce weight limits on A340's because they are durable and can handle so much, she'll still fly!
@intellegence63smart Wow, you know, I never thought of this. Carrying so many passengers, (being so elongated) the power-weight ratio must not be that great.
Mabuhay Class is the best and not too expensive. The only thing I don`t like is the Mabuhay Lounge downstairs the Centennial Terminal and not being allowed to smoke there.I always have to go the coffee shop at the end of the building to smoke.
PAL is a fantastic airline and beats Cebu Pacific easily.Only tight fisted fuckers etc travel via Cebu Pacific.
That why i dont like to sit before the engines. the sound during take of is a bti irritating. its like a sound of a propeller plane. :D Nice Video. :D:D
Goodbye,Philippines! This video made me cry cause it reminded me of my departure to Canada last year.I don't know when to come back again to see my family in the Philippines.I miss them.
@bigaallaann hey! who are you to tell me to come back to the Philippines anytime and stay for good?I am not a contract worker.I live in Canada and i am a canadian citizen.I just went to the Phils last year with my son for a month vacation and to see my family there.your comment was offensive.can u please read my comment again so u will understand it,MORON?!
@AimeeLG11...I have read your posting again.Sure you may be a Canadian citizen now... likely a Pinoy that marrried a Canadian or originally worked as an OFW in Canada.Obtained your Canadian citizenship for conveniance as Pinoy passports are Micky Mouse,no travel available unless have a visa.
You have dual citizenship but as a Pinoy in your heart the Philippines will always be #1 in your heart. Like I said if you miss your family and Philippines so much you can always return back there to live!
@bigaallaann i came to Canada as a permanent resident already because my husband sponsored me.it has been already 6 years since i came here and i became a citizen 3 years ago.i don't even have a dual citizenship.you don't know me to say that i just obtained my canadian citizenship for convenience and that i have dual citizenship.i didn't even know why u get annoyed by my first comment.
@AimeeLG11 Under Canadian and Philippine laws you can have dual citizenship.
My wife of 22yrs is a Filipina and every Pinoy I know wants a passport or Permanent Residence when they can as an OFW or when married to a citizen of the country they moved for conveniance of travel.
A Pinoy always thinks of the Philippines as #1 regardles, home and family originates from there...next its who can you bring to Canada to live?
I have been thru this already via work permits etc and keeps wife happy.Lol
@AimeeLG11...I was not annoyed with you, just tried to be sarcastic with sense of humour.,,sorry if you felt hurt.
Sure, even I miss the Philippines as a very nice country in general, but the warmth of the people is what makes it great! I usually go to the Philippines every 6 months regards work to Cebu and Davao. My wife originates from Madridejos,Bantayan Island,Cebu. Best Wishes..
@bigaallaann i don't normally argue with someone i don't know but because i didn't like your reply to my first comment,i can't help but replied to u.about the dual citizenship,i know that i can have it under the Canadian and Philippine laws.i only have canadian citizenship because i still haven't applied for dual citizenship yet.
@AimeeLG11 Lols...Sorry for late reply..May be your so much like my wife in way of thinking..Always got to get the last word in on an argument.
Ref: Dual Citizenship...You don`t apply for this. You already have a Canadian passport and can still maintain your Philippines passport,so are a dual citizen already by holding both of these passports.Only downside is the expense of renewing Philippines passport as more expensive than within the Philippines.
@AimeeLG11 Many Pinoys maintain holding a Philippines passport because of the right to own or purchase property within the Philppines.
Yes,you can buy property as a Canadian due to the fact your birth place is in Philippines. This is restricted to 1000sq metres of land and you would also be restricted on various types of business..Example:not allowed to own a supermarket. I can only suggest you keep your Philippines passport for these kinds of matter as similar to my wife.
@bigaallaann when i became a canadian citizen,i already gave up my Filipino citizenship.i still have my Phil passport with me though.yes,i'll keep it for as long as i want.thanks anyway for your advice/suggestions.ingat.regards to your wife (although i don't know her).hehe.
@mhirama PAL Mabuhay Class is cheaper compared to other airlines due to the fact that so many Pinoys can`t afford to travel by air or just so tight fisted!
I asked a flight attendant about the bellsound. On airbus, when the gear goes up or down, it gives off the bell sound in the cabin. :) I think it makes sense for the landing as the reminder for cabin crew to be seated before landing. :D
francis2383, i know that the bellsound during flight means buckle -or unbuckle, i fly regularly to the philippines from europe to visit my family overthere, just came back a few weeks ago from spending 6 weeks overthere( i flew with cathay pacific, boeing 747-400)
i flew in 1997 with PAL from Frankfurt to Manila, and i heard that bellsound too, i thought it was a sign for the flightattendants, that they can unbuckle and start serving the passengers but i might be wrong
I'm sure It's not the cabin..... And yes, Boeing doesn't have those bell. But if you notice, we only hear that sound just after rotate. That's why I think it's the landing gear....
that's odd... i rode an airbus a340 and it was a twin engine...didn't look like this since the pilot said a340... i know that the a330 is the variant that is twin engined and a340 has 4 but in PAL, the a340 for them is the a330... any explanations?
hmm... could be... it was the first flight in the morining at that tym... btw the a340 here almost uses up 5/6 or the runway in taking off... these birds don't climb as fast as others... i have observed though
Great sound in this clip from those CFM hairdryers! The A340 doesn't climb so much as it relies on the curvature of the earth to gain height! One of the slowest aircraft for climb out but also a very comfortable, quiet aircraft.

Guys , Do you notice only in Airbus Aircraft . After liftoff there is a beep. Anyone know what is that beep for ?

I think it's the gear up warning. Every time the pilot raise the landing gear lever, that sound comes along with it.
And I think you're in every airplane video in Youtube..... XD
