Whenever I feel that I need to reach out to Christ, I play this song. It comforts me in a way that I can't describe. When I know that I've messed up, I listen to this song and I know it will be alright.
Music is what you make it. I'm a Christian who can't stay awake during a sermon. I'll admit that. But, I'll sit up and listen to music. This, and studying my Bible is how I come closer to Christ. This is my ministry as a choir boy and bassist/singer for my local praise and worship/rock/metal band. If you want your music with some of the glory of God mixed in, go for it. Don't let anyone stop you. Must remember, it's about God, not you.

TFK is definitely one of my favorite and most respected bands... but the concept of 'Christian Music' or any type of religious music is bunk, outdated, and only does more to drive people apart.
Plus, it restricts great bands like this from going Platinum.
The concept is idiotic. Genres about the sound... rock, rap, whatever... music is spiritual in itself. Why complicate and segregate it with religion?
@Rapoirier Because the group chose to be called that, freedom of choice... People didnt choose their genre... Plus the meaning is changed when its labeled as christian music which brings more power to a song. This song uplifted my spirit so many times when I was down. Knowing they were talking about God gave me more confidence in it's meaning rather then guessing if they were talking about a relationship.

@Emergencyvideogames I'm not sure I have a favorite, Hebrews stands out some, so does Acts, no favorites. I have been going to school to finish a degree for the past two years on top of working and trying to manage a home and family, I have not devoted the time I should to reading the Word for some time now. I am in fact a bit dry. I am looking forward to finishing my degree and being refreshed and renewed by reading the Word more frequently again.

Everyone, I'd like to say something I usually wouldn't - please stop fighting. I'll admit, I argue myself. But isn't there a better place? If you want to pick a fight go do it somewhere relevant. I listen to music like this because it's one of the only ways I can get through some of the things I'm made to go through in life. Shit happens. I'm glad that there are some people who can fall back on their beliefs and feel safe and loved. I'm glad that they find happiness and solace in at least God. No one deserves to feel alone in the world.

@Emergencyvideogames I'm not sure I have a favorite, Hebrews stands out some, so does Acts, no favorites. I have been going to school to finish a degree for the past two years on top of working and trying to manage a home and family, I have not devoted the time I should to reading the Word for some time now. I am in fact a bit dry. I am looking forward to finishing my degree and being refreshed and renewed by reading the Word more frequently again.

Everyone, I'd like to say something I usually wouldn't - please stop fighting. I'll admit, I argue myself. But isn't there a better place? If you want to pick a fight go do it somewhere relevant. Shit happens. I'm glad that there are some people who can fall back on their beliefs and feel safe and loved. I'm glad that they find happiness and solace in at least God. No one deserves to feel alone in the world.

@nightpoize listening to a beautiful christian song like this always brings up debate of morals of christians. so saying lets just listen is a nice idea but it probably won't happen. unless you cant comment lol. :)

Not religious what so ever, that prob comes with high intelligence =P But i love this song, i know there a christian band, but i didnt even know that until last week and ive been listening to this song for years, i really think its more romantic and not religious at all. Either way, great sound and vocals, really touching. Keep on rocking!

Wanna know something funny? I'm Wiccan but I love this song. And for those who don't know Wiccans believe in god too......... sometimes I wish I was Christian though.

@DarkXtrike Why do you wish you were a christian? Sometimes God pulls at our heartstrings by a song..... All you need is to learn about Jesus....Everything else would fade away when you really find out who he is....HE LOVES YOU and is waiting for you to ask him! God bless dear heart!

@faitho5o6 i don't like the idea that you have to know jesus so he can give you a relationship with god. It's like saying you have worship him or be send to damnation and that just seems like scare tactics.
