Cardboard characters and no emotion shown by the actors at all. The only good thing was probably the visual effects and that's all.

You know I thought this movie was amusing...it's not meant to be taken seriously. I just love it for the film noir nostalgia and because of Frank Miller. There are awful movies (The Happening, Twilight - although the books are awesome, Prom Night and a second X-Files movies were pretty awful). But I appreciate this movie for what it is: amusing and comic book film noir silliness. Plus Gabriel Macht...HOT!! He's got a well sculpted torso and he was funny!
