Best way to kill the book is try to hit with 200hp when the book close when it open it will try to poison you have antibody on your party have vivi focus like three times and use fira on him the book will close again try to hit with 200hp again and repeat p.s he has good items to steal :-)

@brandcruz i can make it even easier for you(in disc two)..focus 4 times so it reaches max ,then use steiners minus strike to do 15-200 dmg so the book opens cast fira and steal..use minus strike again when it returns in closed form.equp antibody and get your silver fork and running shoes.it has VERY good armor(demon mail)but its VERY rare.same as trying to get fairy flute(if i remember the name correctly) from hilgigars without few hours of trying or ridiculously good luck..its not worth it

you have to damage him in a certain way so that he'll come out from the book. if he's still hiding inside the book and you trance, then its useless.

bring him to 150-200 dmg/page lol then all he does is cast poison !! lol.. so i just use vivi (fira) and theivery which did about 3k then
