@Heautontimouronmenos i was wondering if this was a frank zappa production. did he write it? is he actually playing an instrument as well in this recording?
Saw Babe Ruth live last month in Montreal. I was so much looking forward to this song and wouldn't you know, 30 secs into it, the guitar player's amp went dead. The band kept playing and the keyboard player went into a totally amazing improv. The guitar player resurfaced at the tail end of the song, just in time to play the last few notes. He then went to the mic and said "English amps, there's a word for it".
A wonderful track, the band showed the crowd the high level of talent they have.
Saw this band live a couple times. They were not the headliners But they stole the show. Alan Shacklock was really good guitar for that time. Great memories
Saw these guys on Bluesfest 2010 in Ottawa with my dad. Fucking amazing.

@MrSethElkins Of course: this IS a song that Frank Zappa composed in 1967 and he performed several times later. An owesome sound!

Yep. Just look up King Kong Frank Zappa, you'll find it. Best version is the one from the BBC archives.
