Good points. For some reason most people dont get the radical subjectivity of consciousness. I guess they are so identified with the content or objective aspect of conscious experience they never notice the purely subjective aspect - the seer.
I channelled an article in positive health magazine..that mentions that you can affect your own DNA. It brought up your name.. can't seem to post the link to it.. will try my best.
Hi Deepak, I channelled this information for an article in positive Health magazine.
"Take one watch per minute and you can affect your own DNA. Deepak Chopra will agree with this as he is the one who pointed out the amazing fact of learning to notice your own being in the first place.[14] He read about the fruit fly and how it can affect its own consciousness in time. He points out that it can only happen in relation to where you are in time. ...(is this what really happened for you?)
consciousness is not confined to the brain but an activity of the pure spirit, which in turn is beyond space-time. ie infinite in all aspects. Therefore by trying to put a definition to it, u actually box it into that definition. Therefore consciousness, god, spirit is by definition Undefinable. It just IS.
Simple, no proof of anything but that we all are certain to die. No proof of anything else ever. Mr. Chopra makes a lot of money doing what he does, no one here would stop doing it either. No proof of anything, bottom line. Deepak is just another scammer like the rest. No difference, just guided by greed and money, thats all. No big secret. Just look around. Very simple. Live, reproduce, die. Nothing more. Just like that pig, or that dog, or that horse. No difference.
The embodied mind - Varela, Thompson and Rosch. Great book, combines cognitive science and Mindfulness/awareness practice to show how these two approaches paints a new and interesting picture of consciousness.
couldt it be, that all depends on what we call ¨objective¨. could it be that that ¨definition¨ is in deed not defined, and can be inifinite. what we call today objective, was sorcery before.. so
maybe we can know objectivly the counsciusness some day, but it will be only the beginiing of more advanced öbjetive¨ knowing to learn in the future about counscius, what we call subjective today.
Im not sure there is anythign to solve, and I might have really missed the mark in my previous comment. becoming one and losing identity is the way to experience a tiny inconsequential thing such as objective consciousness. we are one at that point and dont need objective anything. there is no seperateness
the whole is possible to expereince objective consciousness, as objectiveness is its tool. but I am its tool. I can only conceive that - not until my body dies will i experience objective consciousness. but of course- its just a big huge maybe-

will we get to realize out true potential or will it be snatched from our grasp by the evil that runs the world.. being chipped will stop us connecting to the universe..
In knowing the unified field, all 3 - the knower, known, & process of knowing united in a single unified state of knowledge in which the three are one and the same, consciousness (Samhita). The entire universe is an expression of consciousness moving within itself: all activity in nature is just activity within the unchanging continuum of the wholeness of consciousness.
I think the bible says..."physician, heal thy self". It's like that tv commercial, when the guy on the telephone is told by his doctor on the other end, to "make an incision between the third and fourth rib".....
This intertwined entanglement is the beauty of it all. I feel love for what I observe because it speaks back to me in a conversation that never ends as long as I embrace the conversation. Observing in an "objective" state is a falicy. All is one and that is the beauty. Accepting and reveling the oneness with the observed is the bliss in accepting the moment as perfect at all times. Thank you, Deepak. I really enjoy these conversations.
Consciousness is experiential. Objectiveness is based in dualism - I and the object I am observing a separate. But this is never the case - we are the same. In embracing this sameness - I and the observed are subjective and combined - there is understanding. The thing that is understood and the thing that is understanding are related and entangled.
What Jeb said.. could not have put it any better... it's 'looking for itself'... consciousness experiencing itself.. there are no words to express it.. it's a feeling.. not an idea, concept or objective terminology.. well said Deepak and JebMurphy! :)
I'd say no. At best it can only be pointed to objectively. Who knows tho? I wouldn't trouble myself to "solve" the mystery objectively. It's all goo tho. Be Peace ;o)

Vedanta gives knowledge of:
Rishi => The knower (or seer)
Chhanda => The object of knowledge
Devata => The process of knowing
In knowing the unified field, all 3 - the knower, known, & process of knowing united in a single unified state of knowledge in which the three are one and the same, consciousness (Samhita). The entire universe is an expression of consciousness moving within itself: all activity in nature is just activity within the unchanging continuum of the wholeness of consciousness.
