Human sacrifice, incest, torture - and the promise of eternal pain of you don't go along with it! IT'S ALL THERE FOLKS!
Actually, heaven would be hell to me; the idea of floating around bodiless in constant worship of a very insecure and vengeful deity - for eternity, People! - would be the worst thing you can possibly imagine. Give me a return to the stars any time.
@StrumstickJoe We will have bodies. "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”
—Philippians 3:20, 21. (See also 1 Corinthians 15:35-44)
Jesus has a body, and so will we. A body far more glorious than we can imagine. God knows how to give us happiness, He, after all, created happiness.
@LetsLiveForHIM It would seem pointless to quote the bible to someone who doesn't believe a single word of it.
"We will have bodies" (I have no doubt you are utterly wrong) but how could you possibly know that?? Ask yourself. That is delusion - wish thinking of the blindest kind!
Wake up, find realism and clarity. stop wasting valuable life on this stuff. Change your name.
@StrumstickJoe I know that because the bible, which is inspired writing by the Holy Spirit of the Living GOD, told me that. Yes, peace on earth is what we should pray for, no doubt.
@jaga454 , ur book is a clear conflict to salvation bcoz the author of that book was a murderer and pervert, he died of stomach pain,,his god is not merciful and compassionate, not like the one that mentioned in the Bible...
Never heard of this man but he is a godly man
