You'll love your makeup even more where your acne and oily skin are gone. My bf sister did it and she is soo happy =)

  • @souljaaagiirl Omgah, say wha???

Any chance you know what the procedure is called? How's her skin doin a month later now? Any crazy reactions?

  • HEY! I'm a guy with oily skin and mild acne, i was wondering what type of makeup i could use to get a natural look? Thanks :)

  • So when you me matte gel, what is it?

  • Omgosh you are a miracle worker

  • just lettin you know, i have tried a MYRIAD of liquid matte foundations and my favorite is dermablend's smooth indulgence with merle norman cover up, set with silk natural's oil control primer (for fair white girls/boys). hope it helps!

  • I love Juice beauty products! your skin is beautiful by the way! I really like the juice beauty green apple peel because it adds that extra glow to your skin for an entire week!

  • thanks so much for making this video!!

  • HEY GIRL! is the MAC loose blot powder have a colour to it?

  • @grinnabee they are translucent but have colors techinically like "medium" deep dark etc.

  • I actually bought the juice beauty like last year I think after watching one of your videos... It didn't go with my skin... It caused a lot of irritation for me :0( Wish I knew about Sephora's open policy I would have returned it. Great tips as always for the oily girls, I hate when my T-zone looks like I drenched my face with oil.

  • im hitting acne...and a question i have is does nuetrogena bar soap work...and if not what can i use ta clean my pores..n lyk some type of medicine i can use to clear bumps and spots

  • i have had really bad acne for years. ZapZyt works great to clear up break outs. it's super cheap and you can get it at walgreens, CVS drugstore, etc. they have a whole line of products. good stuff.

  • cocolo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • Hi, can I use the mattifying gel alone? I want to get skin of my oily skin but don't really need coverage. Also, would I use moisturizer before or after a mattifying gel? Thanks!

  • @philly183 Absolutely! I do. Use the matte gel after you moisturize.

  • has anyone used a mattifying gel? did u like it???

  • i have!! i used mac All Matte...its ok..it helps alot

  • u look flawless!! Big upss! Been drinking more H2O lately & i had a major break out for about a week, now my face is starting clearing as I continue drinking...like a liter a day. Is this a normal progression toward healthier skin?

  • @VeryHappy2bMe yes! it is, drinking more clears the toxins out of your body, including the toxin in your skin :)

  • @Kellyn2009: thanks!!! it was worth it! Hope u had a good day! It's snowing here in D.C./ VA.

  • did you ever find out the name of the prescripition from your brothers friend?

  • how do u use d milk of magnesia? drink it??:S

  • clickt o view all comments and see the step by step in bulleted format. I think i'll try it too.

  • LOL NO don't drink it! i hope you didn't, unless you were constipated. you can just use it as if it were a toner or a mask depending how oily your skin is. I personally like to use it as a mask . I leave it on for about 5 min. it works alright, but i hear that after a while it can eliminate the natural oils of your skin thus causing you skin to produce more oil which means....more oily skin. i don't use it too often

  • wow, cool! I should try milk of mag on my skin. Try honey with lemon juice like, one teaspoon of each then rub it in skin with a cotton pad and wash it off after 15 minutes. This is only for oily skin; I would not suggest if if there is a cystic acne meaning, break outs all over the face. My mom have been doing this for 6 months and her skin looks gorgeous! I was apprehensive about it because it is an Ayurvedic remedy from India but, the results are great.

  • no dear, unless u have a constipation or anything related. you just dabbed it with a cotton ball and make sure you do not apply it too much or your skin would be too dry. ( you can see white streaks if you applied it too much )

  • Luv the hair!

  • beware the BenzaCline!!! i used it and it seriously HURT my skin! it did clear up my acne, but it also made my skin peel REALLY bad! if i exfoliated at all (gently), it would sting when i applied it afterwords! it reacted with almost every product i used, even many kinds of makeup, and my skin would get all red! i got sunburnt often when i was using it, which never happens to me otherwise. i used it exactly as perscribed for like 2 years. if BenzaClin works for you, congrats, its a miracle...

  • My dertamtologist told me that BENZACLINE is not for people with dark skin! That is a common mistake people make. People of Asian descedent, Afrian American, Indian, Hispanics with darker skin tone, and Mediterrians should stay away from Benzacline. It does help with acne but it leaves acne scars and discolorations with hyperpigmentation. The safer treatments are saliyclic acids and any retinae products. Retinae is teh best because it hleps with acne and exfoliates skin with cellular renewal :)

  • ah..i was just thinking about buying it. thanks for the warning.

  • no problem! Try any retinae products; you can get the generic treitonin. It does cause dry skin so, make sure to apply moisturizer; but, usually, the dermatologist starts off with 0.5%. Salicylic acid are over the counter, you can get it any drug stores or even Wal Mart. Make sure to apply SPF 30 or higher when your skin is exposed to the sun :)

  • Well, if you have darker skin tone then, stay away from it. However, if you are Caucasian or Hispanics with light skin tone then, it usually is very effective. If your skin is sensitive to it, try applying it every other day or twice a week. Benzacline is very strong and helpful for Caucasian skin. Also, for any acne medications, it is safer to use it over night. Do not ever put makeup over any acne medications. It is not safe due to mixture of chemicals! Also, wear SPF 30 when exposed to sun!

  • you got the spelling of the prescription wrong, it's BenzaClin, in case anyone couldn't find it. it came up on google for me the 1st time =]

  • hey :) look up this vid, its called Bye Bye Oily Skin, easy cheap remedy' . The m.o.m absorbs oil for up to 10-14 hours max...seriously... i put it on [make sure to use the UNflavoured kind from Phillips] at 11 pm now its 2 am , and im still fresh.. no lie...check it out :):):)

  • use milk of magnesia...u wont be oily for 10 hours ... believe u me :) it works :)

  • what do you do with the milk of magnesia?

  • hey :) look up this vid, its called Bye Bye Oily SKin easy cheap remedy. The m.o.m absorbs all for up to 10 hrs sometimes more! check it out :) u wont be disappointed :)

  • thanx!

  • no problem! when i found this vid tonight, i told myslef the Youtube Universe neeeds to know this ... so yea ... happy life with a non- oily face :D bye bye :)

  • Where do i get it frm ?

  • any drugstore, pharmacy, convenience store.....just ask for Phillips Milk of Magnesia [make sure to ask for the UN flavoured kind] :):) and say goodbye to your oily skin...believe you me, grease was my unwanted best friend , after m.o.m ...poof!! gone, never to return...so have fun, let me know how it goes :):)

  • It worked like that for me, then like after 3 months of using it it didnt make a diff.

  • wahts that is it good wherr did yu get ???

  • if you sweat does it come off and run down your face or stay put......(like on a hot day kind of sweat)

  • i had acne and one of the products that helped me alot!! its called acepxia. its a mexican product but its very good they have cremes powders foundations pills soaps cleanser and many other stuff but wat i used was the foundation so i think u should recomend them to the rest of the people

  • Undercover Agent by Iman works wonders also.

  • Your skin looks GORGEOUS! I think I'm gonna try the MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation because I've heard a lot of good things about it and what it does for oily skin. For anyone who has used it before and has oily skin, do you prefer the liquid version of Studio Fix over the powder?

  • Hey bluextangerine, I don't know if anyone has answered your question yet, but I like the Mac tudio fix its a pretty good product. I am currently using it right now it give a natural look. I actually like both the powder and the liquid I am thinking I will use the powder for really hot days though.

  • You're pretty :)

  • @stfortag Thank you!

  • I remember using Benzaclyn to clear up my acne and it DEFINITELY worked! I've recently begun using another prescription called Epiduo, though, and i find that it works the same if not better...i can honestly say that it helped within one use. btw, i'm a new subscriber and i absolutely LOVE your videos :] fabulous job!

  • I went out and bought the blemish serum from Juice Beauty a few weeks ago and it works woooonnnnnddddddeeeeerrrrsssss! thanks for the suggestion.

  • One of the best PRIMERS/MATTIFERS around is Good Old Fashion:

Milk of Magnesia- YEP, try it! wash, moisturize and sunblock as normal then:

    1. shake the bottle

    2. take a cotton ball and wipe a small amount off the cap

    3. apply to T Zone, eyelids and any oily areas

    4. makeup as usual

    * I apply allover my face as I am extremely oily!

  • allo...love ur video..big fan!!!

i tried the "juice beauty"from sefora but it just leave a burning feeling on my face :(

  • OMG! So sorry to hear that.

  • OMG you are so goreous

  • @tchianylinda I had that same exact irritation to it... Ouch LOL

  • @tchianylinda Hey tch you probably have very sensitive skin like me try products for sensitive skin like Avene that personally works really well for me it's mineral water based and it does the trick

  • @tchianylinda some skincare products make my face burn while I'm using them, but usually a cold rinse after washing makes it go away. It isn't because I'm allergic, it's just the chemicals in the washes are strong. Just shows they're working :) But if it still stings afterwards, maybe it's too strong or you have too sensitive skin? Aloe vera gel works wonders :) I also recommend Simple skincare. No nasties, and it works just as well.

Sorry for butting in, but I hope it helps :)

  • so is this more for hyperpigmentation more so than blemishes?

  • Hey Erin,

Liquid makeup tends to clog my pores and make me break up even more. I noticed you haven't done a mineral makekup review. Do you ever use mineral makeup or have a favorite? Thanks for all your tips!

  • Its really cool ..that you are doing these shows...wow i have been complying to your ways of applying make up ...Oh god iam looking so amazingly pretty in town .,,i mean i was always pretty but now iam even amazed myself .Thanks hey girl....Whats your name?

  • You are... SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!! >XD

    And pretty. :D

    Extremely gorgeous, in fact.

  • so what is that gel called that you use as your primer??

  • Comment removed

  • by dark spots do you also mean the scars they leave behind?

  • I do the back of the hand thing, too. Lol. I don't have the cash to try the makeup forever all matte, or any of the other expensive brands, but I did get some Rimmel fix & protect foundation primer for only $6 yesterday and so far so good! I recommend it for those who are tight on cash.

  • Just some feedback in reference to the prescription items? Hmm they aren't tested on "us" -women of color- ... therefore, not really formulated for us. Plenty of water, fruit and veggies in the diet... a standard wash/tone/moisturize routine should do it. Find what works for you.. and stick with it. Thanks for the tips sis ... Continue to do u !

    peace n salutations

  • Wow... apparently this routine or ''feedback'' doesn't apply to you Oh Bitter One... So, when that becomes the case, skip over it. Continue to do your research and find out what method works BEST for you! My reply, as many others have found, was simply a general one. For those with ''problem skin'' .. I'm sure they do NOT take what I said as offensive or gospel. However, on the other hand, Plenty of water, fruit & veggies in the diet, and wash/tone/moisturize routine works for MANY!

  • the word is dropper.. love your vids girl!

  • i have melasma...will it help me...?

  • i used benzaclin faithfully for however long it lasted, and it like barely even did anything!!!! SO MAD ! but now i have benzaGEL and OMG so far so goood :)

  • i love benzaclin!! I've been using it for about 6 months and my face has changed drastically!!!!!

  • To reshon30 , I bought the Make up forever HD foundation based on this video. I kinda like it. It is expensive though, In Sephora it is $40.00. looks natural on. that's what I like about it.

  • I was going to Atlanta Sephora to get this product after i saw this vid and i couldn't make it! I am def going to go get it. Is that the only product you have ever used or tried by that company? I checked out the site and they are majority organic but not all the way BUT they spound really impressive still! Do you mind telling me how much it cost? Thanks! Love your skin girl :)

  • wait ...what;s the name of the website she said???

  • You look so pretty!

  • Thanks for the information on the items you use for oily skin. I have tried a lot of different products and none worked, that I really liked, so I will try a few of yours. Also I like that black liner you are wearing which one is that?

  • By aging I mean mostly that oily skin wrinkles less over time than dry skin. The oils are healthy basically, even if not convenient...

  • not for me it didn't

i found it was the foundation i was using that was making me oily

    so i just switched foundations.

  • Don't have a bad acne problem personally but my skin is oily as hell... hey for everyone else out there with oily skin/hair it's a fact that our skin ages much more gracefully than those with dryer skin.

Especially ppl with very dry skin... a nice lil upside to having oily skin!

  • Comment removed

  • No they won't come back, but they won't continue to fade at a faster rate.

  • Do you have any recommendations on how to reduce under eye bags and darkening?

  • MAC Fast Response Eye Cream is supposed to depuff the under eye area very well. I know tons of people who use it. I have it in my kit.

  • I use Juice Beauty's Organics to Clear Skin and I love it. My face is looking much better.
