I guess I'll address this video first.

They know from the start that the "improv" that they're about to do isn't going to be a legitimate scene. And a lot of people have said, "It's not funny to look bad on purpose," but I think it's safe to say that being "awkward" can be comedic.

In other news, it really bothers me when people say SNL is doing poorly nowadays. Most of the time, these people haven't given it a chance, or they're stuck in an ended era. Move on and appreciate today's humor.
