@Nat1T actually the one on the left is a samsung, the one on the right is a toshiba...not the same..."listen to what he say next time"...or just listen to what he SAYS lol. The BIOS boot is going to be different, and the OEM services are going to be different as well.
dude, in a scientifuc experiment, things haz to be teh same.
But seriously, you need to have the same type if conditions, excluding the levels independent variables. Not only is it the hardware, but the start up has to be the same like the number of start up items and stuff.
Who cares about the start up time, in my opinion that's least important (minute or two difference). Mine laptop I hardly ever shut it down - sleep or hibernate mode only. Machine runs flawlessly for 5 years now. XP rules, stable reliable system, I'm not planing to upgrade to Windows 7, unless I absolutely have to.
If XP had beaten Win7 you'd be using it as a stick to beat the latter with. Start up time can indicate over all efficiency of the OS. When ever you do upgrade, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
@113JAVON

If they both had the exact same configurations or slightly different then it would mean something.
